Good news, pop fans with a particular interest in early noughties boybands, Blue are returning with a new album.
Member Simon Webbe today (July 11) revealed the band, whose last album Colours was released in 2015, are back in the studio recording, with the aim of releasing it next year.
All Rise for the comeback.
“You’ll be glad to know that right now we are in the middle of recording the next album,” Simon told The Sun.
“Hopefully next year. We’ve all got our solo projects – Duncan James is in Hollyoaks, Lee Ryan is in EastEnders and Antony is on tour – so we’re going to be pretty busy for the next 12 months, but within that time we will be recording the Blue album.”

To be more specific, Lee Ryan has of course been busy filming his role as Woody Woodrow in Eastenders, while bandmate Duncan James has had a recurring role as Ryan Knight in Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks since 2016.
But, in fact, all of the Blue boys have appeared in soaps – Webbe himself turned up in Scottish soap River City as the Roth family’s army veteran friend Andy, while Anthony Costa had guest stints in both Casualty and Holby City back in 2014.
Welcome back to the pop world, boys!
