Just last year, Liam Payne was on hand at the BRIT Awards to accept an award on behalf of One Direction.
“I know I speak on behalf of the rest of the boys when I say we can’t believe we’re still winning these and the sheer devotion that are fans have shown us is absolutely amazing,” he said while picking up the award for British Artist Video of the Year.
“We’ve been taking some time out and working on our solo material but One Direction is who we are and who we’ll always be. This one’s for you.”
Well, jump forward 11 months to yesterday’s BRIT Awards nominations announcement, and now three of the 1D guys are fighting it out in the same category.
