Manchester City star Ilkay Gundogan will reportedly sign a new deal with the Premier League champions.
The Germany midfielder – who is currently at the World Cup in Russia – has been interesting Spanish giants Barcelona.
He has two years left on his contract at the Etihad but City want him to pen an extension, according to The Sun .
Gundogan has struggled with injuries in England but returned last season to help City win the title.
The 27-year-old is reportedly happy with his current £100,000-a-week deal in Manchester.
Barcelona are looking to strengthen their side for next season despite the arrival of Philippe Coutinho last January.
The La Liga champions had expected to sign Antoine Griezmann from Atletico Madrid but the France striker will remain with the capital club.
