Paris Saint-Germain fans celebrate Ligue 1 title win over Monaco in front of Eiffel Tower with lit flares

The Ultras flocked to France’s most famous landmark after seeing their side demolish Monaco 7-1 at the Parc des Princes.

Sunday’s result means PSG have now won the title five times in the last six seasons following their mega-money takeover.

They surprisingly lost out to Monaco last term after the southerners amassed an impressive squad featuring the likes of Bernardo Silva, Benjamin Mendy and Tiemoue Bakayoko.

But after capturing Neymar from Barcelona for a world-record fee, Unai Emery made sure there were no further nasty surprises after crashing out of the Champions League to Real Madrid.

Supporters were clearly jubilant with the result and celebrated long their achievement long into the night.


Numerous red and purple flares were lit up in front of the Eiffel Tower, making for some magnificent viewing.

It means PSG are once again top dogs in Ligue 1, and things could get even better next season when Thomas Tuchel takes charge.
