Real Madrid will beat PSG in Champions League first-leg clash… but Neymar is better than Cristiano Ronaldo

EVERYBODY is looking forward to this game.

The greatest club in Champions League history against a club which would give anything to win it once.

There is no doubt Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain depend on their star men, Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar.

Both of them will want to prove they are better than the other.

Ronaldo showed last season how he can win these titles on his own.

He put five past Bayern, got a hat-trick against Atletico Madrid and scored twice versus Juventus in the final.

Ronaldo was outstanding. He won Real the Champions League but is not at that level at the moment.

Neymar is paid more money now and that will make Ronaldo angry. He doesn’t like the fact he’s behind the Brazilian now and will want to give a performance that says “I’m the best and I’ve shown it.”

But I think Neymar is more difficult to defend against. His movement is better and he has more tricks.

If PSG have a weakness it could be at the back, because Thiago Silva is not the fastest any more.

He is getting on and Real will look to expose his lack of speed. PSG are very compact in midfield with lots of quick, attacking players.

Angel Di Maria scored a hat-trick last week — and he’ll probably be on the bench with Julian Draxler. They have more options in their subs and this can make a difference over two legs.

This season Real’s concentration has not been high enough, too many times.

There will be more motivation now it’s Champions League time again but I just feel they are getting old and starting to slow down.

PSG are the last team they would have wanted to face. Their biggest problem is their domestic football is too easy, nearly every week.

They can win every week at 70 per cent. But in the knockout stage of the Champions League they have to be 100 per cent.

Real will win the first leg but PSG will score and go through with a clean win at the Parc des Princes with Neymar the decisive player.
