WWE legend and Playboy cover star Trish Stratus confirmed for first appearance in five years on Monday Night RAW 25th anniversary

WWE'S Raw 25th anniversary show has just guaranteed Stratusfaction after legendary diva Trish Stratus confirmed her appearance at the event.

The 41-year-old Hall of Famer is the latest iconic name due to make a comeback for the extravaganza this Monday.

And the gorgeous Stratus cannot wait to step back into the ring for the first time on Raw since July 2012.

She said: "I'm excited to be coming back home.

"When the WWE Universe says they want some Stratusfaction, one must deliver."

The Canadian, real name Patricia Anne Stratigeas, started out as a fitness model before joining WWE in 2000.

She was mostly involved in sexually themed storylines as she began life in the business as a manager for tag-team T & A.

After a kayfabe on-screen affair with WWE owner Vince McMahon she began to get more match time and went on to become one of the pioneers of the women's wrestling.

Stratus retired from in-ring competition back at Unforgiven in September 2006 after winning her record-setting seventh WWE Women's Championship.

During her illustrious career she also captured the Hardcore Title, which was held by male superstars such as The Undertaker and Mick Foley.

Her wrestling talents were not the only thing that made her a hit with fans as she became a huge sex symbol.

Stratus has appeared on several magazine covers, including a shoot for Playboy.

After winning WWE's Babe of the Year award on three occasions, the stunner was later proclaimed Diva of the Decade.

She became the youngster ever person to be inducted into WWE's Hall of Fame aged 36 back in 2013.

Stratus will join a host of other legends in making a return to our screens for the landmark edition of Monday Night Raw.

Taker, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Shawn Michaels, Chris Jericho and her former rival and fellow HOF member Jacqueline are all confirmed to appear.

Bill Goldberg was yesterday confirmed as the first inductee into this year's Hall of Fame.

Tickets for this year's Hall of Fame go on sale through Ticketmaster this Friday at 4pm GMT.

It takes place 48 hours before WrestleMania 34 emanates from the Mercedes-Benz Superdome on Sunday, April 8.
