Pat Phelan appears to be a dead man walking after his lies and manipulation were finally exposed.
Terrified Seb Franklin revealed the shocking truth in court that Pat forced him to accuse Anna Windass of pushing him off the ladder.
With his sinister scheme falling to pieces, Pat looked a beaten man as he stormed out of court and frantically packed his belongings to seemingly go on the run.
However, Corrie fans noticed some seriously dark foreshadowing that could indicate the killer’s next move.
Pat’s crimes have seemingly caught up with him after brave Seb stood up to the killer and admitted that Anna didn’t harm him.
When asked if Anna pushed him off the ladder, Seb said: “No, it was him that made me say that.”
Pointing in the murderer’s direction, he added: “Pat Phelan. He’s always had it in for Anna.”
Suspicious Eileen looked like she’d seen a ghost and left the court to get some air, leaving her husband to face the music alone.
Anna’s supporters triumphantly left the court room, with Gary and Faye convinced their mum would not be found guilty.
As furious Pat came marching out, Gary told his Mum’s nemeses to enjoy his freedom “while it lasts”.
He added: “Perverting the course of justice, perjury, take your pick. Now everyone knows how much you’ve lied the police will come knocking next.
"And once they start digging who knows what they’ll find.”
They retreated to the Rovers for a celebratory pint, where Tim revealed his fears for Seb’s safety.
Gary revealed he was staying with an army mate on the other side of town.
Trying to convince Sally that Phelan is a danger to the boy, he said: “He’s scared Sal. He’s terrified Phelans going to come after him.
Brushing it off, Sally said: “Oh honestly you two, it’s like you’re in episode of the flipping Sopranos.
“Pat’s not going to go after anybody and with any luck Anna will get out and this will be the end of it.”
But worried Corrie fans fear this isn’t quite the end as a panicking Pat was seen packing a bag to leave.
Could Phelan try to silence Seb once and for all – confirming everyone’s fears that he’s next on the villain’s hit list.
Corrie viewers seem to think so and took to Twitter to admit they’re scared for Seb with Phelan lose on the streets.
One viewer said: "Hopefully this is the downfall of phelan! Hopefully our Seb is safe though!"
Another added: "I’ve got a phelan Pats going on the run"
A third said: "I’m on Pat’s side… I do love a good soap baddie. Gary and Seb are on his list."
