David Walliams reveals Britain’s Got Talent secret about his golden buzzer act as a familiar face returns to audition to ‘prove him wrong’

With the audition episodes coming to an end, the comedian is the only judge to have not pressed his golden buzzer.

However, during an appearance on The One Show, the star revealed that he will finally make his choice on the next episode.

“I’ve always liked using the golden buzzer to give someone a chance who wouldn’t otherwise get through,” he told hosts Matt Baker and Alex Jones.

“But the other judges have made it very competitive because they think, ‘oh well if my golden buzzer wins, that reflects well on me’.”

Teasing that a familiar face will return to the show, David added: “It’s quite an interesting story – you’ll see it unfold on Saturday actually.

“It’s quite an interesting story and quite a different golden buzzer for me.

“It’s basically someone coming back on the show kind of to prove me wrong.”

Meanwhile, Ant and Dec’s golden buzzer act caused a frenzy on Twitter when viewers thought they had exposed magician Matt Edwards’ trick on This Morning.

After explaining that he just wanted to show everyone what he could do, Phillip asked him if he was going to do a trick for them.

Happy to oblige, Matt gave Phil, Holly and Rylan Clark a balloon each to blow up.

Asking Phil for his, he held on to it sideways and popped it to reveal a bottle of tequila which was welcomed by the hosts.

Offering a drink to the trio, Matt poured out the alcohol into shot glasses.

As Phil and Holly declared how impressed they were with the trick, some fans took to Twitter to share their thoughts on how Matt managed to do it.

“I just saw him get the tequila out his sleeve??? #ryland #thismorning,” wrote one.

“To the magician we all saw you get that bottle out of your jacket #ThisMorning,” came the response from another user on the social networking site.
