Disney has confirmed the release dates for a load of movies and Frozen 2 is one of them.
It was revealed back in 2015 that the phenomenally successful animated musical would have a sequel and now it’s been announced that it will arrive in cinemas on Wednesday November 27, 2019.

Both Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel will return as sisters Anna and Elsa in Frozen 2, and Josh Gad as Olaf, with original directors Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck developing the it with producer Peter Del Vecho.
Kristen celebrated the announcement on Twitter, writing: “Quick weather forecast from your favorite disney princess’ sister: Theaters are gonna get Frozen on November 27, 2019! Woo Hoo!!!!”
Idina tweeted: “It’s happening! All my Elsas say ho!”
Frozen was released in 2013 to critical acclaim – it won an Oscar for Best animated feature – and global box office success with nearly $1.3 billion made on ticket sales alone.
Based on Hans Christian Anderson’s The Snow Queen, the movie tells the story of two princesses, one with magical control over ice, who must overcome their differences in order to save the kingdom from eternal winter.
It was revealed this year that the movie was going to have a far more sinister storyline that took away the sibling relationship betwee Anna and Elsa.

A short sequel was released in 2015, as an added bonus to cinema goers seeing the live-action Cinderella movie, and featured all the original cast including Josh Gad, Santina Fontana (Hans) and Jonathan Groff (Kristoff).
It was because of Frozen Fever that an idea for a feature-length sequel was created,
“We enjoyed making Frozen Fever so much and being back in that world with those characters,” Lasseter said. “Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck have come up with a great idea for a sequel and you will be hearing a lot more about it and we’re taking you back to Arendelle. We are so excited about that.”
