Kat and Alfie left Walford for good last year after Kat learned she had a secret son.
Redwater will follow the couple’s journey as they head to Ireland to locate her secret son.
While the pair have been away from Albert Square recently, Stacey Fowler has often heard from her cousin Kat.
It was recently confirmed the BBC soap would reference the show ahead of it’s launch on Thursday.

Tonight on EastEnders, Stacey had something to tell husband Martin Fowler as a postcard arrived in the post.
The postcard was from Kat, revealing her new plans to head to Ireland.
Stacey had no idea why Kat was going there, and appeared confused by the decision.
As Martin asked Stacey about it, she said: “You know Kat!”

The latest trailer for Redwater hinted danger ahead for Kat, will she find her son?
Viewers were panicked about the show being ruined before it had even aired, after it was revealed the show would be screened in Ireland four days earlier, on the 14th.
Many fear that the time difference will cause people to reveal spoilers.
Questioning why there is such a difference in dates, one fan took to Twitter to ask: “How come @rteone are showing #Redwater 4 days before @BBCOne? Will spoil it for UK fans. Luke’s identity & other twists will leak.”

“Filmed very close to us last summer!!! Looking forward to it! #Redwater,” wrote one.
