EastEnders: Lisa Fowler kidnaps daughter Louise Mitchell in sinister scenes: Lisa was seen apologising to Peggy when she came across a picture of her in the house [BBC]
During the latest episode, Lisa was seen acting strangely as she remained by her daughter’s bedside alongside Sharon and Phil Mitchell.
However, after stealing a set of keys to the Mitchell house on Albert Square, Lisa made her excuses to leave and entered the home where saw a picture of Peggy standing with Phil.
Looking at the image of Barbara Windsor’s character, Lisa repeatedly stated that she was sorry, before dropping the frame and injuring herself when she tried to pick up the shards of glass.
During a heart to heart with Sonia Jackson in the cafe, Lisa appeared to blame herself for Louise’s injuries which were caused on the night of the prom when Alexandra pushed her on to lit candles.

“Peggy was right. She told me. She gave Louise to me to keep her safe,” Lisa told Sonia in a panicked state.
“This would never have happened if I didn’t let her go. I should have kept her safe. I need to keep her safe.”
While Sonia thought nothing of her claims, Lisa started to put her plan into action when she returned to the hospital and asked the nurse if she could take Louise out for some fresh air.
“Would it be alright if I took Lou out for some air? Some nice clean air? Just into the hospital gardens,” Lucy Benjamin’s character said.
As the nurse agreed, Lisa appeared to share the news with Sharon but left viewers shocked when she told her a completely different version of events.
“I just spoke to the nurse and she said as long as we’re really careful we can wash Lou’s hair tonight.”

But Lisa’s lies got even more sinister when she told her daughter that she had been told by the nurse that she had been discharged from the hospital.
Having managed to encourage Sharon to return to Albert Square to get the correct shampoo and conditioner, Lisa told Louise when everyone had left: “I’ve got a surprise. I’ve just talked to the Doctor. They’ve released you. I’m taking you back to Walford.”
Believing that she was heading back home, Louise couldn’t hide her excitement.
However, Lisa’s true plans were revealed when the scene cut to her and Louise asleep on her lap in a taxi asking to be taken to Liverpool Street station.
Vowing to keep her safe, Lisa held up the picture of Peggy that she had stolen from the house and said: “She’s going to be safe now.”
