Beauty and the Beast could be getting a sequel [Disney]
The 27-year-old Harry Potter star played Belle in Disney’s live-action remake of the classic animation and now she’s said how much she’d enjoy returning to the role.
Speaking to Access Hollywood at the Tribeca Film Festival screening of her new movie, The Circle, Emma said: “I would love to do a sequel.
“I always thought that Belle would become a teacher and she would run the library in the castle and open it up to the village. This was where I was going.”

Considering the box office success of Beauty and the Beast, a sequel might well be on the cards for Disney.
The film – co-starring Emma Thompson, Sir Ian McKellen and Ewan McGregor – has made over $1 billion worldwide so the studio may want to turn the film into a live-action franchise.
Disney did this after the commercial success of The Jungle Book, with director Jon Favreau developing a sequel to the 2016 film, and have confirmed a release date for Frozen 2 too.

There will also be a second Maleficent movie with Angelina Jolie returning to the titular role.
Disney has a long list of live-action remakes they are planning on making including ones for Mulan, Dumbo, The Lion King and Aladdin.
The studio revealed their film slate for the next four years and it includes a number of untitled live-action remakes so watch this space.
Sadly for Emma, her latest film, The Circle, has not been a critical or commercial success.
The movie, based on Dave Eggers’ celebrated dystopic sci-fi novel, managed to only make $9 million off a reported $18million budget and has just a 17% approval rating on reviews aggregator website, Rotten Tomatoes.
