Everything to know about new Love Island girl Alexandra Cane

After two new boys turned up in the villa, making many head’s turn (mainly Georgia Steel’s, in about 50 different directions) the old lads are feeling a little neglected.

Of course, the Love Island gods are quick to act and already they are set to provide the boys with a well needed distraction – Alexandra.

The new bombshell will most certainly get head’s turning, as a couple of the boys have been pretty unnerved by the arrival of Idris Virgo and Kieran Nicholls (such as Sam Bird , whose girl Georgia has been flitting all over the villa in delight; and Jack Fowler, who ended things with Laura just as Idris got onto some hard grafting.)

But who is Alexandra – and does she have a claim to fame?

What does she do?

Alexandra, 27, is a make-up artist from Hertfordshire.

But she’s not your average make-up artist, as she worked with model Demi Rose for two years, gaining her more than 150,000 Instagram followers.

She’s also worked in the industry with models, musicians and other artists, and even admits to having dated a few of them.

What’s her relationship history and what’s she looking for?

Despite having dated a few mysterious musicians, Alexandra claims to be mates with all her exes.

She says: "I’m the type of person that, I like to maintain a good relationship with people, even if things have come to an end because I did care about that person once."

Of the lads in the villa, it seems Josh Denzel and Dr Alex George are in her sights.

She continues: "I’m setting my sights on Josh. He is so my type looks-wise. I feel like Dr Alex could be a good match for me.

"I feel like we’d have some really in depth conversations, I’m knowledgeable, he is knowledgeable. Hopefully I can bring out his personality a bit. I’d like to get to know him."

She’s hoping someone will be a gentleman and "have character" so she doesn’t feel she’s "carrying" the relationship.

What does she think about cheating?

While this seems to be a simple question for most, Alexandra is a little sketchy on what her views are.

She says: "I read a lot about love – books from anthropologists and speakers so my mind is frazzled with my thoughts on monogamy. I don’t really know as humans if we are meant to be monogamous.

"I started reading about it and about different types of love. I don’t condone cheating and I don’t agree with it but I would do everything in my power to try and understand why cheating happens."

Well, could her different types of love lead to something a little naughty happening in the villa?

What are her good and bad points?

Alexandra hopes to make good friendships, and also says she is pretty loud and fun.

She says: "I’m always the life and soul of the party and I’m a bit of a joker. I’m just always super positive and I love life. I like to spread positivity around everybody."

Physically, she reckons the lads go for her eyes.

"Probably my eyes are the most obvious thing guys would look at," she says.

"I’m very grounded and fun loving, I take care of people and if you’ve got my heart I will always do my best for you."

But the bad habits are that she’s a bit loud, and apparently even her eating is louder than usual.

Love Island airs weekdays and Sundays from 9pm on ITV2.
