Harry Styles returned to The Late Late Show with James Corden to deliver the opening monologue – after about 30 hours of rapturous applause – and took a pop at US President Donald Trump in the process.
While doing his best stand-up delivery, 23-year-old Harry fired off a few delectable zingers as he opened the show, firstly referencing Donald Trump’s decision to share information with Russia about tackling ISIS and terrorist threats.
He said: “Donald Trump shared secret information with the Russians last week. The good news for Trump is that he has been named employee of the month… by Russia.”
The One Direction star also went on to poke fun at Hillary Clinton, who’s forming a group called Onward Together – a political organisation that is anti-Trump.
He continued: “Experts are calling it ‘bold’, ‘ambitious’ and ‘six months too late’.”
This was met with waves of applause as Harry dished out a cheeky smile.
Elsewhere in the episode Hazza hosted his very own skit called ‘Side Effects’, which made light of all those boyband cliches.
Y’know having the cute one, the grumpy one, the dangerous one – all a bit like Snow White’s Seven Dwarves, just with better haircuts.
James Corden mocked Harry’s rumoured past relationship with model and reality TV star Kendall Jenner, ahead of his special Carpool Karaoke with Hazza’s first appearance as a serious solo artist.
Oh and of course, Harry has performed some of the songs from his debut album, including ‘Carolina’ and ‘Sign of the Times’.
