Yes, it’s true. There will be a This Morning and Coronation Street crossover, as presenters Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby are readying up for a special cameo on the ITV soap.
Phillip and Holly are appearing as part of Rosie Webster’s upcoming exit storyline, and Holly admitted she was feeling a little bit nervous about recording her scenes.
“I don’t know how that got out,” Phillip said, commenting on how their cameo appearance has already been leaked. “Literally in the last commercial break our script has been delivered.”
“I’m so nervous, can I just say?” Holly replied, as Phillip had a look at their lines. “I’m not very good at this sort of thing.”
While we don’t know at this stage what will happen in Helen Flanagan’s final scenes before her maternity break, the actress previously teased that the storyline is “hilarious” and will stay true to her character.
“I’m going out in very much ‘Rosie’ style,” she said. “The storyline is hilarious, actually. It is really, really funny.
“I’ve really enjoyed that about my character, doing the comedy. I’ve really enjoyed doing that.”

Helen added that she will miss her Corrie co-stars, especially Sally Dynevor (Sally Webster) and Brooke Vincent (Sophie Webster).
“I’m really, really close to Sally. So, so close,” she said. “And I’m so, so close to Brooke, who plays my sister. I’ll miss seeing them on a daily basis, but obviously I’ll see them every few weeks.”
