In March, Coleen Nolan emotionally revealed on Loose Women that her sister Linda Nolan had been diagnosed with incurable secondary breast cancer.
Tearing up, the former Celebrity Big Brother winner revealed how her sister had broken her hip and gone to hospital when doctors discovered a cyst.
Since the devastating news, Linda has bravely decided to open up about her cancer battle in a new diary segment on the ITV chat show called Linda Nolan: ‘My cancer diaries’.
Each day this week, the 58-year-old will talk viewers through her emotional journey.

And after the emotional diary instalment aired, Coleen broke down in tears over her sister’s video.
To which Ruth Langsford asked: “Are you alright, did you know she was feeling any of that?” to which Coleen admitted: “No.”
While the host added: “That’s hard to listen to, isn’t it, for you. She’s incredibly positive, Coleen.”
To which Coleen replied: “It was a long time [Linda’s previous cancer battle], ten years or something, we never thought really about it coming back.”
“It just came out of the blue, like my brother said,” she emotionally added.

Loose Women: Coleen Nolan admitted she is both devastated and angry over Linda Nolan’s cancer diagnosis [ITV]
“It was just such mixed emotions of devastation and so damn angry. You just get angry, not even why us, as Linda says, it’s not just us, it happens to everyone of every lifestyle – everywhere.
“It’s angry that you’ve done this to her and when it was doing it to her the first time, she lost her husband and my mum all in the space of a couple of months but she still battled through it.
“Then when you think just when she’s picked her life up, when she’s not feeling guilty about carrying on living, it comes and hits her again. I think that’s the anger – it is for me.
“We’re just strong for each other [her family], we cover a lot of it with humour and sarcasm – it’s the way we get through it.

“But taken off individually, like Linda was for this film and seeing my brother being interviewed – I didn’t know the rawness of him – we don’t really discuss each other’s rawness we just try and be strong for each other when we’re together.”
