Love Island set to dump ten Islanders in shock recoupling twist: Up to ten Love Island contestants will be leaving when a new recoupling takes place [ITV]
Earlier in the week, 11 new Island residents – six guys and five girls – made their debut on the show when it was revealed that they would be split up into two villas with the new guys entering the villa and the new girls joining the likes of Kem Cetinay and Chris Hughes in Casa Amor.
While sparks have flown over the past couple of days when Marcel Somerville shocked everyone by kissing new girl Shannen, it appears that even more will fly when the Islanders take part in a new recoupling.
The boys in Casa Amor will be offered the chance to stay with the partner they left in the villa or return to their home for the summer with one of the ladies from Casa Amor.
However, any of the girls not picked from Casa Amor will be sent home immediately.

But there’s another twist in store for the Islanders when the the girls in the villa will be given the chance to decide if they want to recouple with a new boy or stick with their current beau.
Once again, any boys that aren’t picked will be given their plane ticket back to the UK when they are dumped from the show.
As it stands, Jonny Mitchell and Dominic Lever could be at danger of being removed from the show following Camilla Thurlow and Montana Brown’s budding romances with new boys Craig Lawson and Alex Beattie.
The recoupling decision will take place with the girls and guys completely unaware of what their current partner has decided.

If they both stay loyal and decide to stick together and not recouple with a new Islander, they will continue in their couple as before.
However, if they both choose to move on with other people, they will both stay in the villa with their new partners.
But if one person chooses to recouple and the other doesn’t, the one that doesn’t will leave the Island.
Warning viewers that they will see the Islanders be put through a real test of loyalty, a source told the Daily Star: “This is a test of loyalty. Those who stick with their old partner risk being shafted.”
