Ever since entering the villa, Hayley Hughes has been confused about pretty much everything.
From asking what earlobes are to admitting that she thinks talking about spirit animals is "too deep", Hayley seems like she’s fast becoming the new Joey Essex
But is she really as dim-witted as she seems?
Good Morning Britain presenter Richard Arnold doesn’t seem to think so.
Appearing on the ITV daytime show today, Piers Morgan pointed out that Hayley was the "most stupid" in the villa.
But Richard wryly pointed out: "I think she’s playing a long game."
This comes soon after Scarlett Moffatt to compared her to her 5-year-old cousin after her most recent strange comment.
Hayley had been on a date with new boy and social media presenter Josh Denzel when she made the strange quip.
Asked what she was looking for in a man, Hayley contemplated the question before giving a thoughtful answer.
Or, well, maybe not.
"I just want to have a laugh with someone and not take things too serious and not go too deep," she told an amused Josh. "Obviously if I start to like them that’s when I want to take them serious."
A smiling Josh nodded, clearly taking it all in.
Hayley continued and referred to Eyal: "He was just too deep for me and [he’d ask me] things. You know, like ‘What’s your favourite animal?’"
As soon as that bizarre comment left her lips, fans flocked to question whether Hayley really was as dim as she appeared.
One tweeted: "’He was too deep for me’. No babe he can hold an adult conversation & you can’t. Get outttaa here #loveisland."
While another commented: "Hayley thinks asking someone what their favourite animal is "too deep"…"
Meanwhile Scarlett couldn’t help but rib the Scouser by tweeting: "Hayley my 5 year old cousin asks girls in his class questions like this ha!!"
As if that wasn’t enough, Hayley also later asked what an earlobe was…
