Fans of The X Factor will never forget the night that Olly Murs nearly messed up a deadlock round on live telly.
Olly probably won’t ever live down the final moments of the November 15, 2015 edition of the ITV reality edition, when he mixed up the judges’ scores and prematurely announced that contestant Monica Michael was going home.

The ‘Heart Skips a Beat’ singer would subsequently leave The X Factor after a single series as co-presenter with Caroline Flack, and is now a coach on rival ITV talent competition The Voice UK.
In a recent interview with The Sunday Post, Olly admitted that he’s still bothered that he was responsible for briefly throwing The X Factor into chaos.
“Making that mistake always annoys me,” he lamented.
Despite his departure from the series and subsequent hiring on The Voice, Olly was also quick to point out that many headlines about a feud with former X Factor boss Simon Cowell have been overblown.
“Everyone thinks we’re not friends, but we’ve not even spoken for a long time,” he insisted. “I saw him last year at an ITV event and he was fine. Listen, there’s no beef between myself and Simon.
“We’ve got a great relationship and I’m sure when I see him next we’ll have a drink and we’ll be fine.”
The singer-presenter has even expressed hope that he’ll be able to judge The X Factor alongside Cowell at some point in the future.
Olly will be a part of The Voice UK‘s series finale, airing on Saturday (April 7) at 8.30pm on ITV.
