Betway’s Alan Alger revealed: “As the Strictly contestants continue to be unveiled we’ve seen some notable interest in punting on Eamonn Holmes to take to the dancefloor.
“There’s a bit of momentum building on Twitter with Holmes’ fans and the odds suggest they could be about to see their man sign up for Strictly at 6/4.”
Meanwhile, The Saturdays star Mollie King is currently favourite to win the Glitterball trophy, with more names yet to be announced.
The announcement of Ruth’s signing was made during a suspense filled episode where Ruth and Eamonn teased viewers about who would be appearing on the BBC talent show.

When it came down the big reveal, the married presenting duo revealed that it could be Gino D’Acampo, Dr Chris Steele or Deidre Sanders.
However, it turned out to be Ruth when she appeared from behind one of the doors.
As gold tape fell from the ceiling, the TV presenter rushed out and declared how excited she was to be a part of the show.
During a chat with Strictly Come Dancing expert, Karen Harding, Ruth explained how happy she was to share the news with everyone because she had to keep it a secret for so long.

“I’m very relieved and I’ve had to keep this secret for so long,” she declared.
While there are a few more weeks to go before Ruth finds out who she’s paired with, Karen speculated that she could be paired up with Gorka Márquez.
