Hillary Clinton is finally distancing herself from Harvey Weinstein — but, so far, not his money.
Five days after the alleged lecherous ways and praising the women who’ve spoken out.
“I was shocked and appalled by the revelations about Harvey Weinstein. The behavior described by women coming forward cannot be tolerated. Their courage and the support of others is critical in helping to stop this kind of behavior,” the former presidential candidate said in a statement.
But as other politicians scramble to dump donations from the disgraced movie mogul, there’s no word about the cash he gave to Clinton’s election campaigns and the Clinton Foundation.
Weinstein bundled $1.42 million in donations to her presidential run — including his own contributions — much of it at a Broadway musical concern that included a cameo by “Hamilton” creator Lin-Manuel Miranda.
He has also given at least $100,001 to the Clinton Foundation.
