DISGRACED former BHS owner Dominic Chappell faces the boot from a posh yacht club for wearing its tie in court.
The keen sailor was seen with the £33 Royal Ocean Racing Club neckwear at London’s High Court for a hearing in relation to the collapsed High Street chain.
Chappell, 51, bought the retailer for £1 from Sir Philip Green in 2015.
He has been hit with a £10million pension bill and is awaiting sentence after being convicted of failing to supply documents to regulators.
One member of central London’s RORC — which organises the Fastnet Race — said: “He had the cheek to wear our tie before a judge.
“If that’s not bringing RORC into disrepute, I don’t know what is. He’s brought shame on us all.”
Chappell said: “I will speak to the club.”
