She was born in Preston this morning weighing a healthy six pounds and 12 ounces.
Her mum Carrie said: “The staff at Royal Preston Hospital were amazing in the face of what turned out to be a dramatic entrance when our little girl arrived very blue and with her chord wrapped around her neck.
“Just one more daily miracle from our wonderful NHS.”
She later told BBC Radio 5 live Daily: “Our baby is amazing. We are utterly stunned by the whole experience. We are massively thankful for the tireless efforts of the Lancashire NHS Trust who have been absolutely incredible to us this year”
The baby joy comes after Clarke disappeared in Liverpool in September — as he considered committing suicide.
He later said: “I’m strolling around Liverpool trying to find a responsible way to die that would not affect members of the public, first responders or traumatise anyone.”
The 38-year-old ex-Burnley defender had attempted suicide in 2014 when he threw himself in front of a lorry.
He has inspired fans across country with his mental health campaigning.
This year he set up a charity, the Clarke Carlisle Foundation For Dual Diagnosis, to raise awareness.
