Grenfell erupted into flames last month
Her family had frantically appealed for information and went from hospital to hospital to find her after she vanished following the blaze.
But she has become the latest victim of the devastating tragedy to be officially identified by police.
Her grieving family said: “Majorie was sixty-eight years old and she had worked in the textile industry for many years.
“She was a beautiful, joyful, independent, intelligent, kind hearted, sensitive individual who dedicated her life to her children.
“She carried herself with dignity and extended her warmth to family and friends.
“Through her creativity and joy of life she was an inspiration to many of us.

“She has been prematurely and dramatically taken from this world and will be sadly missed by family and friends, both here in the UK and abroad.”
At least 80 people are believed to have been killed when the blaze ripped through the North Kensington tower block completely gutting the 24-storey building.
Officers are still conducting a fingertip search of every flat on every floor of the charred tower block using small trowels and sieves to trawl through the ashes looking for grim indicators of victims.
Investigators said 350 people should have been in the Kensington tower on the night of June 14 but 14 are believed to have been staying elsewhere.
Cops fear the number killed in the tragedy could rise and have renewed pleas for any tenants illegally subletting their flats to come forward – promising they will not face action.
Firefighters now face the mammoth task of recovering bodies from the burnt out building
So far more than 30 of the victims have been identified.
But detectives fear the identities of some of those killed will remain a mystery due to the ferocity of the 1,000C fire that devastated the 24-storey block.
The Grenfell Tower investigation is the biggest the Metropolitan Police has conducted outside of counter-terrorism.
