MEGHAN Markle’s half-brother told cops his “freaking crazy” fiancee attacked him — landing her two nights in jail.
But he later admitted his injuries were self-inflicted.
Last Saturday The Sun exclusively revealed that Meghan’s future sister-in-law Darlene Blount was arrested on suspicion of assaulting Tom Markle Jr in a boozy New Year’s Eve fight. Darlene spent over 32 hours in jail and posed for a teary-eyed mugshot.
Now The Sun has obtained the police arrest report from the bust-up.
The report says cops were called to the couple’s Grants Pass home in Oregon, US, by Darlene after she reported Tom was “punching himself”.
Darlene, 37, fled to the garage as she was scared he was “going to hurt her”. But when cops turned up Tom, 51, had “blood pouring” from an injury and was “black and blue” and he told them Darlene had attacked him.
The District Attorney’s office confirmed it won’t pursue charges against her.
Tom blamed the pressure of being in the public eye. He said: “Meghan’s relationship with Prince Harry shone a spotlight on our family.”
