The mum-of-five, 45, delved into spending over the festive season and why costs are kept down when it comes to her disabled son Harvey, 21. Who has a genetic disorder known as Prader-Willi syndrome, along with ADHD, septo-optic dysplasia, autism and is partially blind.

Appearing on Made In Chelsea star Jamie Lang's podcast, the reality TV star confessed to the chaos she faces with Christmas presents. While she would like to lash out on nice things for Harvey, she admitted it wouldn't be worth it because they would soon all disappear.

She explained: "It's just hectic, total chaos. I've been winding him up saying he's only got three presents. All he does is smash them. He says 'Pinky promise, I won't'."

Katie told the host: "Whatever I buy him, I have to buy him the cheapest thing… because it'll disappear when he's back at college. He's like a little baby, but he's actually 21."

"Over a month ago, Katie revealed she was exhausted after Harvey smashed up everything at home. The 21-year-old had been staying at the West Sussex mansion before returning to his residential care and caused a bit of damage.

Meanwhile, the glamour model took to her Instagram platform with some unseen footage of herself from her latest performance. She was dressed as the iconic villain Caraboose and really seemed to be enjoying getting into character.

In the snaps, the ex-Page 3 star can be seen working her magic in a sizzling purple frock that boasted a daring thigh-split dress that dazzled with sequins and pink feathers. And there was a horned headpiece, of course.

However, the reality star would have been unprepared for the onslaught that manifested in the comments section beneath the trio of images that she had shared. With Katie innocently captioning her pics: "Panto season is here."

For some reason Katie's debut performance at Liverpools M&S Areana really seemed to rally up and divide followers, with one negative remark reading: "Isn't your whole life a panto ffs," as another troll penned: "Oh but Katie you cannot sing," as another agreed: "You can't sing, you can't act. Who on earth wants to listen to your dribble.."

Meanwhile others lunged in to defend the star after the savage and uncalled for online attack, with one person warning: "Christ if you have nothing nice to say then leave the woman alone. And worry about your own life's… judge your own life's and live in your own skin not in other peoples.

That same person continued to vent: "it's her life leave her to it. Mistakes or no mistakes, we all make them. It's Christmas folks, give her a break. Another barked: "Maybe the nasties could have a day off its nearly Christmas." While a third panto goer chimed in adding: "Katie was absolutely amazing!! She was made for the stage."

Talking about their campaign, twin sister Eve mentioned how shocked she was to learn that the life expectancy of orcas was 14 years old when they lived in caged marine parks compared to a long-life expectancy of 80-years-old when in the wild. Speaking candidly about her surprise, Eve said: "It’s absolutely heart-breaking to think of orcas and their families being broken up."

The reality TV stars are the latest in a growing roster of Love Island contestants speaking out against marine parks and the danger of animals who live in the caged attractions. Love Island's Olivia Bowen and Belle Hassan recently teamed up with PETA in a video declaring Jet2holidays’ connections with marine parks being considered as "a major ick".

Meanwhile, contestant Faye Winter also made a splash stepping into a bathtub in the middle of London’s Piccadilly Circus. Just like Eve and Jess, her body was also painted like an orca.

Speaking about her only child, the former Big Brother winner explained she hadn't been able to let him out of her sights since touching down in the UK. Speaking on This Morning today, she said: "I have cuddled Reggie like you would not believe. It was so nice to be reunited with him."

Josie, who has been a solo parent after parting ways from Reggie's dad Terry, explained to Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly during her departure interview that she'd struggled without her mini-me. She said: "I was missing him so much and you could see I was really sad and I wasn’t myself."

During her stint, she even broke down to her co-star Eastenders star Dannielle Harold as she was overcome with separation anxiety. Telling the actress: "I just miss my little boy. I shouldn't have ever left him this long."

"Just had a little wobble. You just feel very guilty. I'll never leave him this long again, ever," added Josie. Lots of parents online sympathised with the TV star, agreeing that they wouldn't have coped well leaving their own offspring.

One critic penned: "Oh god give me strength, enjoy the money love with your son," as another shamer agreed: "During covid people didn’t get to see family or anyone for such a long time and they complain about being away from family for a month and being paid an enormous amount of money…”

Other disagreed, explaining they would have done exactly the same in Josie's position, with one person adding: "You are creating a better life for you and your darling boy well done Josie," a second wrote: "I would have found it incredibly difficult leaving my children but agree with Josie's I'm A Celeb choice. We need to stop mum shaming and all do our own thing"

On Monday 18 December, Josie was welcomed back with open arms as she opened up about her experience. All while wearing a signature bush style hat.

Teaming her attire with a glittery and festive sparkly skirt, she confessed to her co-star Craig that she's having nightmares after her stint down under. She said: "I still have nightmares now. Who signs up to the jungle with serious phobias?

"It was really scary. I have never seen spiders that big."

The 29-year-old Paralympic swimmer headed over to her Instagram on Saturday (December 16) to reveal she has spent days at Walsall Manor Hospital. Although she did not disclose why she was admitted to hospital, it appears the scare came on rather suddenly.

In the photo uploaded to her Instagram stories, Ellie's hand was attached to an IV drip. Captioning the snap, she wrote: "Never would of thought spent days in December and lead up to Christmas in hospital."

She then went on to thank those who helped her in her time of need. She added: "Huge thank you to all the nurses, doctors and staff at Walsall Manor NHS Hospital for looking after me."

The news comes after reports claimed Ellie had recently split from her boyfriend Matt Dean. The couple had been dating for two years.

Sharing further insight a source told The Sun newspaper: "Ellie and Matt have sadly split but it was amicable on both sides and there remains a lot of love there. They preferred to keep their relationship out of the public eye and it was the same with the break-up, but both are doing OK."

Ellie and Matt have known each other since they were toddlers but decided to move things to the next level in their relationship two years ago when they realised they had a romantic connection. Things were still going well for the pair when Matt was spotted in the audience supporting Ellie as she competed on BBC's Strictly Come Dancing in 2022.

When Ellie decided to participate in Strictly, she gave a special mention to Matt, who like Ellie, has dwarfism, for supporting her throughout. It's not clear whether Tony was suggesting the post was about any of his I'm A Celeb co-stars. However there have been reports that not all is rosy after the group returned to the UK.

Controversial campmate Nigel Farage seems to have been snubbed by a number of his co-stars on social media. However former EastEnders star Danielle Harold has followed him.

Nigel ended up coming out in third place in last weekend's finale. But his time in camp wasn't straight forward, which was to be expected given his political views.

Meanwhile, Sam's girlfriend Zara McDermott proved his friendship with Tony is still going strong. She shared an adorable video of him sending his new pal a voice note and organising a trip to Liverpool.

He shared a series of photos of him with Tony too, saying he was "missing the buy guy already". Tony also heaped praise on Sam, saying: "You was amazing lad, no-one deserved it more."

Tony also got tongues wagging earlier in the week after he complimented most of his co-stars, but missed out Fred Sirieix. He said: on GMB: "I had brilliant people in there with me. Sam, Marvin [Humes], Frankie [Dettori], Nigel [Farage], Nick [Pickard]… the girls were all queens."

The post I’m A Celeb’s Tony Bellew hits out at ‘fake friends’ after camp feud rumours appeared first on WSBuzz.com.

In fact, the 19-year-old had already photographed Bowie twice by then: earlier that month at Manchester’s Free Trade Hall and the previous December at the city’s legendary Hardrock Concert Theatre.

But he instinctively knew he didn’t have the “shot”. So he bought a ticket for the Leeds show, positioning himself in the optimum spot to capture the singer as he raised his arms while performing The Width of a Circle.

Four years later, that image was sold to the V&A Museum for its prestigious permanent collection and Cummins, by now making a living as a freelance rock photographer, was really up and running.

“I went as a fan but it was just an excuse to take pictures,” he recalls of the first Bowie gig. “It wasn’t busy, it wasn’t even sold out. Then they announced the Ziggy tour in the summer of 1973 and I saw him again.

“But I wasn’t in the best position to get what I thought would be an iconic image so I went to Leeds and stood in the spot I thought would work better. I got the shot and it later became my first photograph in a public collection. It taught me never to settle for the first shot… to always look for something better.”

It’s a lesson that clearly stuck. Cummins, now 70, has immortalised thousands of the world’s most famous people on 35mm film – most famously during 25 years working for the weekly New Musical Express (NME), ten of them as its chief photographer.

“I shot so many covers for the NME that, when I compose a picture, I still leave space in the top left hand corner for the masthead without thinking,” he tells me. “A lot of people laugh at that but when they look at my photos, they say, ‘Oh, you weren’t kidding’.”

Many of his images have subsequently become part of the iconography of their famous subjects, including not only David Bowie but legendary Manchester acts like Joy Division, The Stone Roses and Happy Mondays. Others have included Madonna, REM and Ice Cube. Pretty much the only major musical figure he’s never shot is Bob Dylan, but he remains hopeful.

It was a career Cummins was born to follow. Growing up in Manchester in a lower middle-class Express-reading family, his father – a Timpson shoe shop manager and cab driver – and grandfather were keen amateur snappers and they had a dark room at home.

“It sounds grand but it was a cupboard under the stairs,” he smiles. “They bought me a camera when I was five and I took pictures on holiday and stuff. And they taught me how to process and print them. I grew up with the smell of chemicals.”

Having graduated with a degree in photography from Salford College, and inspired by the likes of German portrait photographer August Sander and US and British photojournalists Diane Arbus and Bill Brandt, he set out to document the Manchester music scene – selling his shots to the NME alongside words from local scribe Paul Morley.

“There was a nucleus of about 50 people who used to go to loads of gigs and you’d see them all the time,” he recalls. “I went to school with [Factory Records founder and Granada TV presenter] Tony Wilson and I used to go to football with [Joy Division manager] Rob Gretton – we all knew each other.

“So when people were forming bands, I was there to photograph them and Paul was there to write them up. We used to bombard the NME with stuff.

“If nothing was happening, we’d make it up. The BBC’s Whistle Test [music programme] would be filmed in Manchester quite often, because the studios in London were always overloaded, so we’d blag our way in to photograph and interview people like Patti Smith.”

Today, although his portfolio also includes actors and sports stars (in 2002/2003, the die-hard Manchester City fan was embedded with the club for the final season at its Maine Road ground), Cummins remains best known as a music photographer.

While Bowie kick-started his career, the band he is most closely associated with remains Joy Division. Known for their dark lyrics and the tragic death of frontman Ian Curtis by his own hand aged just 23, Cummins helped mould their image.

Of their first gig on May 29, 1977, when they were still called Warsaw, he recalls: “We had no idea we were watching a band that would touch our lives for more than 40 years.”

Two years later on January 6, 1979, his shots of the still relatively unknown band, now called Joy Division, in a snowy Manchester would come to define them – especially a shot of the four members on a pedestrian bridge over the Princess Parkway in Hulme.

“I never thought the bridge picture would be used because you couldn’t really see the band,” he admits. “Normally people wanted a more confrontational picture of a band but they weren’t like that. I wanted people to see that picture and know what their sound was like – I liked the space and the bleakness of it. It’s very Joy Division.”

Which raises an interesting question, a sort of chicken and egg conundrum: did Cummins simply reflect the band, or have his shots created the mystique in which they are held?

After all, he describes them as “ordinary lads like me”, not the gloomy urban poets they are revered as by generations of fans.

“Ian and the others were learning how to pose as a band. I was learning how to shoot bands. We each had our own agenda,” he has previously recalled. “They weren’t really the serious young men of Ian’s dark lyrics.”

Today he admits: “People’s perception of them is formed by the photographs. I didn’t want a picture of Ian p***ing in an ashtray. I wanted him looking serious.

“You’ve got to tell a story with a photograph for a music paper. It’s not just a case of getting a picture at the train station and then going home. In those days when you couldn’t just press a button and listen to the music, I always felt it was my responsibility to tell the reader what that band was like and how important they were.”

So if he’d shot them differently, they might have been perceived by posterity in an entirely different way then? Even bass player Peter Hook once told Cummins he thought of Joy Division as “a black and white band” thanks to the photographer’s shots.

Indeed, Cummins only shot a total of six frames of them in colour in three years – perhaps not surprisingly as he had to pay for his own film and processing at £10 a roll (he always hoped the NME would use more than one picture so he could turn a profit, the rate being £6.50 a shot).

“I was very parsimonious with film andseldom wasted a shot,” he recalls. “A typical session would rarely run to more than a single roll and even then I’d try and save a few frames to shoot something foranother client.”

Ironically, having photographed pretty much everything he could in Manchester, Cummins moved to London shortly before the so-called Madchester scene exploded in the early Nineties.

“I got to the point where, like everyone who wants a serious career in the media, I needed to move to London. So in 1987 I did it and started shooting full time for the NME.”

Soon afterwards, he was back nearly every week documenting rising bands like The Stone Roses, Happy Mondays and, later, during the Britpop years, Oasis – photographing Liam and Noel Gallagher in one especially memorable shoot in Man City’s sky-blue kit with then sponsor Brother emblazoned on the front. “I wanted that to go on the cover and my then editor, Steve Sutherland, said he didn’t want them to be associated with losers. He’s a Southampton fan!”

Another time, he was sitting in the lobby of a hotel in Newport waiting for the band when Liam sauntered down. He recalls: “I looked up and saw the etching on the glass above him, the ‘Oasis Bar’. I said, ‘Don’t move, just stand still’, grabbed my camera and got the shot.”

The striking image of the singer made the band’s first NME cover on June 4, 1994. “In the end, I did about 250 covers and I was away all the time. But I was doing stuff that I felt would define the period and also would define certain bands,” he says.

When the NME sold its final edition, before going free then eventually digital-only, a readers’ poll voted Cummins’ shot of Manic Street Preachers guitarist and songwriter Richey Edwards, who later disappeared, topless and covered in Marilyn Monroe stamps, as its best ever cover.

“Because the Manics were such avid readers when they were growing up, they knew their first NME cover had to be important,” the photographer recalls.

“So they went out the night before to a club and asked girls to give them love bites, so they’d look really trashy for the photos.”

Cummins finally left the NME when it made a grab for his copyright. Today he owns the rights to all his pictures, a form of “pension” he says, and his new book, David Bowie: Mixing Memory and Desire, containing his earliest shots, is the latest in a line of beautifully-produced coffee table tomes.

Still taking pictures, Cummins mixed his love of Man City and music earlier this year with a lovely shot of the former Maine Road centre circle, now a roundabout on a housing estate, for the cover of Noel Gallagher’s latest album, Council Skies.

“People don’t give Noel credit for how clever he is. It was his idea to mark the 20th anniversary of City leaving Maine Road.”

While he misses the weekly music press, he adds: “Maybe it was a good thing the NME stopped when it did because it was putting Simon Cowell on the cover by then.”

But it’s not only the decline of the music press, once with several competing papers and magazines a week, that has changed. “I always felt it was our job to build the iconography of a band. And with each shoot, we’d take them up a notch,” he adds.

“These days bands don’t get it. People are so used to taking pictures on the fly with their smartphones they don’t understand the need for anything more.

“But I’m more into photography as an art form. I always saw myself as a portrait photographer; you’ve got to almost make the lens disappear. The subject has got to look through the camera at the photographer – that’s when it works, when you break the barrier of the camera down.”

This comes after Lottie was seeing with Leo, 49, during the early hours on Wednesday morning at Chiltern Firehouse in London. Leo also dated her older supermodel sister Kate Moss, also 49, 30 years before.

One onlooker told MailOnline: "You've got Leonardo and Lottie in the same room, of course they gravitated towards one another. They were chatting and giggling until the small hours when it was time to call it a night. They left the club in the early hours after having a whale of a time. It got people talking, they are both celebrities who enjoy a good time."

But her possible romance could've been a long time coming as she manifested meeting Leo back in 2014. In April that year, Lottie made her magazine debut with a shoot for Teen Vogue where she made a candid confession.

Lottie admitted to having 'a whole zone' dedicated to the Hollywood icon when she was 16 and filled it with pics from his Romeo & Juliet era.

Lottie told the publication: "It began with quotes then I started sticking up photo shoots from magazines. On the door of my wardrobe it's just Justin Bieber though. Then there's a whole zone dedicated to Leonardo DiCaprio – in his Romeo & Juliet phase obviously. And Zac Efron has his own wall."

Live music is my favourite thing on the planet. Some of my best, favourite moments of all time have been experienced surrounded by thousands of people at a live concert, gig, or show. In the past, I’ve shrugged this off. “I’m young,” I figured. “I’ll be fine.” No. After months of attending shows, I have noticed a deterioration in sound quality within my hearing. Your ears aren’t like faulty speakers, you can’t just tinker with them to fix any issue, or buy new ones when you can’t hear quite as clearly – you get one set. This is where my Loop earplugs have come in.

It isn’t just us normies that deal with it, either. The legendary Rick Astley recently revealed he has had to get hearing aids after decades of being around enormously loud music. And I can see how that has come about.

Functionality

Loop Switch combines all three of the Loop earplug offerings (Quiet, Engage, Experience) into one product.

The unique and stunning design of the earplugs still allows them to fit sleekly into your ears, keeping them mostly out of sight at any point.

However, the major difference is a wheel embedded within each earplug that can be turned to Switch settings.

Beginning with Engage, moving to Experience, and finally Quiet; the Loop Switch allows you to block out as much noise as you want on the fly with a quick flick of your finger.

While I was sceptical at first about how well this might work… it’s actually far more effective than you might think. I’ve been on tubes underground where the noise goes from “quite loud” to “unbearable”, and the Switch to Quiet mode has completely blocked out the unwanted din surrounding me in an instant.

However, because of the unique technology crafted within the Loop Switch, they are a little more bulky than their predecessors. I also purchased some Loop Experiences and, while I believe the sound quality is similar between them, the single-use earplugs are far easier to handle and use. Of course, earplugs live and die by how much noise they let in when and where they’re used. What good are earplugs that don’t actually… block out the racket you’re trying to avoid?

Here I’ll break down Loop Switch’s different modes and how well they work.

Quiet Mode – 25 dB (SNR)

Loop Switch’s Quiet Mode is fantastic. I regularly use it as a way of blocking out everything, burying myself in my own little world, and having some well-deserved “Me Time” (or building a “Focus Space” to work undistracted). While the sound-blocking technology in the Loop Switch is fantastic, they are still a little bulkier than the regular Loop Quiet products. As a result, they may not be the most comfortable set of earplugs to sleep with. If you’re looking for earplugs specifically to block out all noise at night, the Loop Quiet’s rubbery texture would better suit your needs. But, on the go, or in your own space, Switch’s Quiet mode is flawless.

Experience Mode – 21 dB (SNR)

I’ve used the Experience Mode of my Loop Switches more than any other. While attending gigs, my first reaction now is to pop them in, Switch to Experience mode, and safely soak up the music. The Experience mode does a perfect job of both allowing enough of the sonic fidelity of the music into your eardrums while also blocking out some of the harsher splash that will ultimately damage your ears.

Engage Mode – 17 dB (SNR)

On those more sensitive days, Loop Switch’s Engage Mode is how you’ll be using these earplugs. They soften the blow of the day-to-day explosions of sound you might bump into on the street, at the coffee shop, travelling on public transport, and everywhere in between. The Engage Mode also, for me, did wonders for my social interactions. It became easier for me to focus on who was speaking at any given, time, and a bit of breathing room in my own head to respond in kind.

Verdict

At the risk of sounding dramatic, the Loop Switches have changed how I experience everything around me – not least of all live music.

Loop earplugs are best utilised when you know what you want. If you want to really block everything around you out so you can focus on reading, writing, or something else, the Quiet is perfect. The Experience setting on the Loop Switch is, in my opinion, essential for surrounding yourself with live music often. And Engage is a fantastic way of centring yourself in tough-to-handle social situations. 

As a result, Loop Switch is absolutely perfect for me. I’ve been able to utilise them in countless different situations, making sure their versatility builds the environment I want to be in at all times. It is for this reason that, if I somehow lost my pair today, I would buy another set before the day is out. 

However, I do mean what I said: Loop earplugs are best when you know what you want.

If you need some new earplugs for sleeping, I don’t believe Loop Switch is for you. Instead, you might be better off with the more malleable Loop Quiet.

James Bond legend Roger Moore pooped himself while filming a speedboat scene in Live and Let Die, his diaries have revealed.

The actor, who died at the age of 89 in 2017, played 007 more than any other actor – seven times between 1973 and 1985. Writing about his experiences making Live and Let Die – his first outing as James Bond in 1973 – he wrote how his life "flashed before his eyes" after crashing a speedboat into a shed in New Orleans.

In an extract from The 007 Diaries, by Roger Moore, he wrote: “They say when death is imminent your entire life flashes in front of your eyes. The only thing flashing before my eyes was a large, corrugated iron shed sticking up out of the Louisiana bayou, which I was approaching at a fair old 60mph in an out-of-control boat.

“I knew I was going to hit it – and there was nothing I could do about it.” He continues: “I wound up in a heap on the floor, clutching my mouth, my knee throbbing, my shoulder numb, and what felt like fifty-four thousand teeth in my mouth all at once being slowly mangled up into little bits of gravel.

“Here I was, just about to start playing James Bond, with no teeth.” He added: “I practised taking a boat fast, at 20, then 30, then 40, then 50, then 60mph around sharp U-bends.

“I pushed my luck and we limped back to shore with a badly holed boat and likewise body. I was piled into a car, still in my swimming shorts, and driven back to New Orleans.

“My teeth, I felt, were the most important, so I saw a dentist first. A quick X-ray showed a fractured front tooth, which by then was hurting like mad.

“Then I was carted off to a clinic, where the doctor gave me the good news that my leg wasn’t broken and Luisa (Roger Moore’s wife) gave me the bad news that my pants were dirty. After what I had just gone through I wasn’t the least bit surprised.”

The 007 Diaries, by Roger Moore were originally published in 1973 – but have been out of print for more than 40 years – and are now available in a fine press edition for £350.

Another penned: "Oooo lala look at this sexy mama whoo hoo."

The former Coronation Street actress, has also in the past hailed ditching booze for helping her to achieve her youthful good looks and slender form. With the ex-soap star having ditched alcohol for over 11 years.

According to Denise she explained in tweet that alcohol "ruined her life for 15 years" before she decided to give it all up and go sober. Her tweet at the time read: "Alcohol is the most dangerous drug because it's legal. Violence is fuelled by it."

"In most domestic abuse incidents alcohol is a major contributor. It is a major cause of anxiety & depression and yet we celebrate it everywhere. It ruined my life for 15 yrs," she concluded.

In an interview with the Mirror, Denise explained that she would never be overcome by temptation to drink again. The ITV star said: "I don't have temptation any more because of what sobriety has given us," she added, "Our careers and our families. That is so much more important. It's not something we miss anymore."

An insider told OK! Magazine: "Paris and Molly have become very close, and Molly often goes to her for advice. Paris has been through similar things with Tyson, so she understands what Molly is going through and she’s a great support for her."

The source went on: "She’s told Molly she needs to pull the reins in and put her foot down with Tommy. Paris is a very strong woman and Tyson wouldn’t be who he is today without her. Paris has warned her that if you give him an inch, he’ll take a mile. So she needs to make it clear it won’t happen again."

Speaking to Daisy May Cooper on her podcast with sister Sophie, Katie discussed all things paranormal activity. The Pricey revealed how she has videos of ghosts in her house.

Actor Daisy then chimed in and joked: “Are they fit?” Katie replied: “You don't see them but they look like they're from the old days. If I have sex, sometimes I feel like they are watching because that's how f**king haunted it is."

Later on, Kate put forward the idea of getting an exorcist to come to her Mucky Mansion to get rid of the ghosts. But Sophie had other plans.

She said: "Do you know what I've got an idea. if not exorcist will come and do your house, why don't you and I train up to become exorcist ourselves."

Katie responded: "I'm up for that only if we go to haunted programmes as well.” Sophie replied back: “No we've got to exorcist other people.”

Keen to turn her hand to becoming an exorcist, Kate quipped: “I would love that. I'm really excited to do all that. I'd be in my element.”

In recent months, Katie has called in a team of expert ghost hunters to track the activity of the ghouls in her property. She claimed they believe it's the most active home they have been to.

She has also recalled the spooky activity she noticed in the house that prompted her to investigate further. "In this house, when I first moved in, it always used to happen about three in the morning outside my door, you would just hear walking and I used to think 'What the hell is that?' and every night at the same time,” she said on her podcast.

She also claimed her children Junior and Princess Andre were left terrified due to paranormal activities at her home, famously branded the Mucky Mansion. She said: “Junior and Princess were on the top floor, I remember hearing screaming and I'm like 'What is going on?', Junior was in Princess' room.

I’m cutting a long story short, Junior and Princess would not stay upstairs. They kept saying they saw a boy and all sorts,” she said.

Nashville trio The Cadillac Three are one such band. They’re country with a hard, Southern rock edge.

This is their sixth album – two made the UK Top 30 – and their sound, which they call “country fuzz”, is maturing like a fine bourbon.

Biographical opener Young & Hungry is instantly addictive. “She was pretty, so pretty, and I was in a band,” rasps singer and guitarist Jaren Johnston.

“She stole my heart, I stole a pawn shop ring, put it right on her hand.” It’s the catchiest they have ever sounded, and the most soulful. As the album title suggests, the trio are getting introspective and reflective with age – more musically expansive too.

Sure, songs like Double Wide Grave, mid-paced and powered by a tough rock riff, are as gritty as you’d expect.

But Comin’ Down From You is fast and loose, surging along with an insistence that defies feet not to tap. Jaren has come down from booze and pot but admits, “There’s no comin’ down from you.”

Prowling rocker The Worst has synthesised drumming and an element of self-doubt. “I see the devil in your eyes,” he sings. “Or is it my reflection?

Beautiful ballad Love Like War reminds you that Johnston has co-written 10 US country No 1s.

Dressed Up To Die is powered by bravado. The protagonist is “rolling, driving life like it’s stolen” and ready for death: “If it goes down tonight, I’m prepared to see the good Lord smile…”

The tourniquet-tight band have clearly lived the hillbilly life they sing about, pills and corn mash whiskey included.

Mercifully, rock glory is more likely to await them than a shallow Tennessee grave.

Former Celebrity Big Brother star Harries, 45, was brought in in April after she admitted she was suffering terrible headaches. After blacking out regularly, she had to go under the knife to stop her symptoms and was eventually put into an induced coma.

But now it seems Lauren is on the mend, as doctors have given her the all-clear to go home in time for the holidays. Lauren's mum Katy took to Twitter to share the huge update with loyal fans, much to everyone's delight.

Writing in a post, Katy wrote: "Update: Lauren's out of hospital. It's been the most stressful seven months of our family's lives.

"But she's home in time for Christmas," she continued. Lauren herself offered a message to her fans: "It's wonderful not seeing the worry on my family's faces anymore, merry Christmas thank you to all of my stars for your love."

Fans of the former singer and model immediately shared their joy for Lauren as they flooded the post with well wishes. One user wrote: "That's great Lauren, have a brilliant Xmas."

A second fan also commented: "Brilliant news for you all. Hope you have a relaxing and lovely Christmas."

Whilst a third commenter gave the family their sympathies: "Good news. Best wishes for Lauren and the family this Christmas holiday season."

However, as Lauren and her family celebrate the good news, it comes with a tinge of sadness. MRI scans taken when she was in hospital revealed that Lauren had split her spine, which lead to her needing "high-risk" level surgery.

Despite their best efforts, doctors were unsuccessful in fixing the spine, and this prolonged Lauren's stint in the hospital. Many medics had said that she would need to be looked after for the foreseeable future, despite her pleas to get home as soon as possible.

Things were made worse when Lauren shared a heart-breaking update with fans that, due to complications with her condition, she may lose the use of her legs. On a post on Instagram, Lauren wrote: "I have been told today I may never walk again.

"I am still in shock, what am I going to do?" she continued. She signed off: "Love you, my stars," followed by a shooting star emoji.

The star shared a candid snap of a makeshift "audition room" at home, where she had been preparing to record self-taped audition videos for brand new roles from her loft. She told fans how Zack Morris, who played her on-screen son Keegan on the show and is now leading the cast of Disney+'s major US hit Goosebumps, has been helping her with her difficulty at working with technical equipment.

Alongside a snap of the chair surrounded by professional lighting equipment, Lorraine wrote: "Self tape setup in the loft, I'm so not technical but I'm proud I've managed to set it up all by myself, with advice on equipment by @_zack_morris. She added: "Just finished one and its hard work…"

The telly star also shared her worries over her work as she told her followers that she was being "highly critical" as she "struggled" with having to try out for new jobs after a long time of working on one project. Lorraine added: "I'll get there, it's a struggle watching yourself back & not being highly critical on yourself… just let it go & send it."

Earlier this year, it emerged that Lorraine was left disappointed by show bosses decision to axe her from the soap. The 47-year old liked a string of tweets slamming the soap back in October when news of her exit was made public.

“I hate the way they’re making Karen so ridiculous,” said one fan when the announcement was made which she liked. Another she liked said: “I can’t believe they are getting rid of Karen. She’s comedy gold.”

Lottie Moss has revealed the most famous person she has slept with is Machine Gun Kelly – and it was before Megan Fox.

The model and reality star is no stranger to spilling the details of her love and personal life. And the sister of Kate Moss was back at it in a brand new interview.

The blonde beauty sat down for a chat on a 4Reality show called Don’t @ Me Babes. Fronted by content creator Chezablonde, Lottie didn’t hold back on the new YouTube series.

In a clip for the episode, Lottie was asked who was the most famous person she has romped. And it turns out it was MGK, who is apparently rather good under the sheets.

“Ok this is a question you don’t have to answer,” Chezablonde said. She added: “But I kind of want to see your shock value for it.

“Who is the most famous person you have slept with?” Chezablonde asked. Looking coy and letting out a sigh, Lottie quipped: “I feel like I’ve actually already said this.

“I’ve slept with a few famous people. But I’d say probably like the most famous as of right now… probably Machine Gun Kelly,” she added.

Chezablonde replied: “I forgot you slept with him,” while Lottie said: “Quite a slay. Pre-Megan Fox.” Wanting to know more, the interviewer quizzed her further.

She asked: “Was he good?” Lottie then quickly fired back: “F**k yeah.”

Rapper Machine Gun Kelly has been dating Hollywood beauty Megan Fox for three years. The pair struck up a romance in 2020 and got engaged in January 2022.

It comes after Lottie revealed she was previously dropped by her agency and lost a clothing brand partnership after deciding to make money on a popular subscription-based website. The 25-year-old model spoke openly about some of her drastic career decisions on the Matt Haycox podcast and how it has impacted her finances.

But despite things not working out in some areas of her life, Lottie confessed that she's now making more money than ever. The star said: "I actually got dropped by my agency for doing [OF]. M

“I got the call, and they were like, 'We can't have you anymore because you're doing OnlyFans.' I still make very, very good money off of it."

She continued: "I think I've found a better deal now so I feel much happier that I took the risk because 100 percent it was a risk. I could have carried on doing what I was doing making loads of money. But I thought you know what I need to be true to myself now, I need to do something that's going to make me happy now.”

“And when I did, it's the best decision I've ever made. I have an agency now who are incredible. They really listen to me."

The Celebs Go Dating star then opened up on the details of her first OnlyFans shoot and was asked if she was "nude". Lottie replied: "Yeah, I think so," she added: "I've always been a very liberal person who's been, not sexual, but I just really like the female form. It makes me feel empowered.”

Bandmembers Chrissy Costanza, Dan Gow and Will Ferri are delivering powerful, poppy, and catchy tracks that have the same vibes that were present in the glory days of Fall Out Boy, The Wonder Years, and the Jonas Brothers.

And – to make things even more appealing – when Against The Current play live, the band themselves feel they have experienced a real improvement in performance quality over the past few years, as well.

Speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk, the band feel like this bout of changes has been a natural progression of their style, passion and art.

“I feel like there was a big shift when we first got back to it after the pandemic,” Dan explained. “Putting out [our latest EP] Fever… it was a fresh start. We tapped into something a little more different and natural. Lots of energy.”

When pushed on whether this was something their label, Fueled by Ramen, urged them to do, he stressed: “It just kind of happened naturally. We released Fever and it lit a fire under us. We noticed the shows had a different energy.”

Chrissy agreed wholeheartedly: “Even the last six weeks we’ve been out [touring] you see the progression from show one to the final show. I felt like I couldn’t even sing [new single] Silent Stranger from the first show… and from the last show, you don’t even think about it.”

Thankfully, British and European fans will be getting a taste of this fervour and talent in the coming days.

Against The Current are currently in the UK playing some of their biggest British shows to date. And they’re keen to make it as special as possible for their fans.

“It’s nice going to Europe and the UK,” Chrissy smiled. “As they’re some of our favourite places, and where we’re really comfortable because we’re just going in at the peak from the start.”

Surely, though, after such powerful singles as Silent Stranger and well-received EPs as Fever, there must be some new music on the horizon, right?

Wrong. “We need to get some studio time after this tour,” Chrissy confessed while referencing their thematic release schedule. “The plan is just to continue on the path of the ‘Nightmares and Daydreams duality’. Theoretically, the next track is a Nightmares track, but we haven’t confirmed or denied that just yet.”

The trio confirmed they have “an album’s worth of songs” in the hopper… but they aren’t ready to let them see the light of day.

Chrissy explained: “We’ve always been perfectionists since the beginning. That’s why we’ve always been slow at releasing new music.

“Whenever we released something that we haven’t been 100 percent happy with it’s, transparently, been because our label pushed for it. We’ve always been of the mindset that we’d rather sit on it [music] until it’s perfect.

“For us, I think it’s always going to be quality over quantity. We can write songs all day long, so the more songs you write the more chances you get of getting a good one. We’d rather take a lot of swings at it.”

Shane MacGowan, best known for his role in The Pogues, has died aged 65. His wife confirmed the news with an emotional statement, saying: "Shane will always be the light that I hold before me and the measure of my dreams and the love of my life".

The Fairytale of New York singer sadly has passed away after various health battles had left him needing a wheelchair and unable to walk. Shane had been struggling with his health since 2015 after he fell and broke his pelvis.

The singer went on to fall and break a knee and then tore ligaments which never fully healed. MacGowan admitted that he “couldn’t walk anymore” during an interview in April 2022.

Shane, who was using a wheelchair to get around, was later taken into hospital on December 2, 2022 for medical care. His wife Victoria Mary Clarke took to Twitter to share the news and asked fans to send their well wishes to the musician.

She wrote: “Please send prayers and healing vibes to Shane MacGowan, [he’s] in hospital again and really hoping to get out ASAP!! Thank you.”

Fans flocked to the comments to support the star and send their best to him as he received treatment. One touching message read: “Not at Christmas, the man is the sound of Christmas and the line ‘You’re the measure of my dreams’ are the words I dream a man will finally think of me one day.”

Shane has previously opened up about his previous addiction which affected his health to the point where he needed a carer to assist him.

His substance abuse took a toll on his body and teeth which led him to get a completely new set of teeth back in 2015.

More recently, Shane's wife has been keeping fans updated on how he had been doing. He had been in hospital hooked up to breathing apparatus for treatment for a serious brain condition.

Victoria thanks fans for the support and well wishes. She said: "I just wanted to say a massive thanks to everyone who has been messaging me and ⁦@ShaneMacGowan⁩ and thank you ⁦@spiderstacy⁩ and Terry Woods for coming to visit him.

"Love and prayers for everyone who is struggling right now. Hang in there!" Shane's bandmates Spider Stacy and Terry Woods have been to visit the singer in hospital.

And four in 10 (42%) reckon the 90s are making a comeback in terms of fashion and beauty – as the nation is still embracing trends such as shimmer eyeshadow, crimped hair, and body spray, in 2023.

The poll of 2,000 adults found that one in 10 (11%) have tried frosted tips in their hair this year, while 21% have even experimented with one of the 90s boldest looks – super-skinny eyebrows.

And when asked whether they would rather go back in time, or travel into the future, almost half of those polled (47%) opted for the former – twice the number of those who said they would jump forward in time (23%).

In light of the findings, TV presenter and former pop star, Frankie Bridge, has teamed up with nostalgic body spray brand, Impulse – to bring to life some of the most memorable celebrity fashion moments of the 90s.

These include Geri Halliwell's unforgettable Union Jack dress at the 1997 Brits Awards, Mariah Carey's timeless “All I Want For Christmas Is You” Santa catsuit outfit, and Liz Hurley’s iconic daring safety pin dress.

And the mum-of-two also donned one of the most iconic movie looks of all time – Cher Horowitz's classic tartan suit, from the beloved 1995 film, “Clueless”.

Frankie Bridge embarked on the creative challenge, with help from a team of expert stylists and wigmakers, to commemorate the return of two 90s fragrances – Impulse O2 and Air – after 2,000 women signed a petition to bring them back.

Frankie Bridge said: “Before I joined a pop group, I used to love dressing up and performing as my favourite icons for my friends and family.

“I’ve loved recreating some of my favourite pop culture memories. Impulse was always in my bag growing up, and it instantly transports me back in time to the 90s.”

Other iconic celebrity looks from the decade include Rachel Green’s “The Rachel” hairstyle, from TV show Friends, and Madonna’s 1990 cone bra. And 13% selected Will Smith’s out-there, day-glo getups from his breakthrough role as the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

Bartholomew Krysiak, Impulse spokesman, said: “We have recreated some of the most famous 90s looks to celebrate the revival and return of a renowned 90s product, Impulse O2 and Air.

“Beloved by 90s teens, who begged us to bring back the two scents, we are transporting people back in time to relive some of their best memories.”

Emma finished the look with a pair of square-toe heels which featured jewels and studs – perfectly matching the dazzle on her shoulders. With glitz and glamour coming from elsewhere, Emma decided to keep it simple when it came to the jewellery for the look.

After the red carpet and those in attendance finished watching the film, Emma stood up for the question and answer segment. She said the film had been a "joy to watch" and branded it "inspiring".

She asked those on the panel how she can get involved to support the refugees in the Olympics which is what the film was based on. James Cordon was also in attendance as he joined to host the panel.

Emma's appearance on the red carpet is her first public event for a while after keeping her life relatively low-key in recent years. She stepped out over the summer to show off her latest swimsuit campaign, but otherwise her socials stay quiet.

Her film career has also taken a slight step back, with her last gig being a short film in 2022 and prior to that her last big film was in 2019 as Meg March in Little Women.

Prior to that, Emma had appeared on Beauty and the Beast, The Perks of Being a Wallflower and, most famously, the Harry Potter franchise.

Now Queen drummer Roger Taylor has also paid tribute by sharing a picture of himself holding a flower next to Freddie almost half a century ago.

The 74-year-old simply captioned the social media post: “Still miss my buddy.”

Amanda fell for Les in 1993, when she was 22 and he was 40. They had both been appearing in a production of The Sound Of Music.

They tied the knot two years later, but it broke down when it was revealed she had been having an affair with Neil in 2000. She would later suggest she was missing "love and affirmation".

Amanda said previously: "I terribly want children but I didn't want to have them with Les. That's a horribly brutal thing to say, but when you do, you know you have to move on."

She added: "I found the fall from grace incredibly hard to deal with. I can't bear not to be liked. Then I had an affair and overnight turned into this awful person.

The TV stunner was glowing with rosy cheeks and minimal makeup. It was time to get her sweat on with a workout, because in her caption she wrote: "Today is @davidlloydpurdy DAY!" David Lloyd is a collection of fitness clubs.

Laura recently announced that she will be fronting a new spin-off show that will be catching up with couples who appeared on A Place in the Sun – titled What Happened Next.

The brunette beauty first found fame when she starred on the MTV reality show when it launched back in 2011. The Sunderland native shared the screen alongside Holly Hagan, Gaz Beadle, Vicky Pattison, James Tindale, Jay Gardner, Sophie Kasaei and Greg Lake.

She quickly became a household name for her fiery attitude and cheeky personality which regularly found her in trouble on the long-running show. But after five years on the show, the TV personality decided to bid farewell to the reality show.

Since then, she has gone on to take part in several reality show, including I’m A Celebrity Australia, Ex on the Beach and most recently The Masked singer Australia. The mum-of-one excited fans when she announced that she would be reuniting with the cast of Geordie Shore.

TV bosses announced earlier this year that many of the cast will be returning for a highly anticipated reunion. But the star has since teased that it didn’t take long before fireworks went off.

Now, in an exclusive interview with Daily Star, Charlotte has teased what fans can expect from the new series. She explained: “You’ll see when it all pans out but there’ll be no more going back for me, I don’t think.

“I think I've realised with the last season that I went in that it just wasn’t for me anymore. I don’t have any bad things to say about Geordie Shore. I absolutely had the time of my life when I was on there.

“I had the most amazing five, six years back in the day and it kickstarted my whole entire life. It was such an incredible show and I'll always love it so much, but it’s just worn off since then.”

She pointed out that she wants to move on from the show and all the drama she faced during her time filming the show. Charlotte went on: “I’m in a difficult place in my life and I don’t want to go back to being involved in drama or conflict.

“I’m a woman with a child, I’m a mother. It’s just not the era that I'm in anymore. I don’t need to go into reality TV shows where I need to be arguing with people, I just don’t need to do that anymore.

The TV personality added: “I spent 10 years of my life doing that. I can make Charlotte in Sunderland and have happy times with my family and do real grown-up things and go through different life challenges and face different things on camera [without the drama].”

It comes after rumours flew that Charlotte's ex Gary Beadle could be returning to the hit MTV show after splitting from his wife of two years Emma McVey.

Shortly after the pair confirmed they had separated, a source told The Sun Gaz was considering heading back, saying: "For a long time, Gaz felt like he was done with Geordie Shore – he even snubbed the show's big reunion series last year, despite various attempts by the cast to get in touch with him.

"In recent years, he just wanted to live a quiet family life outside of the spotlight, but after the recent breakdown of his marriage, he's been doing a lot of thinking and feels ready to rediscover the old Gaz and go back to the show that made him a star."

However, Gary publicly shot down the rumours as he posted on his Instagram: "Got enough going on without fake news… crazy what they put out for clicks and shares…"

The ITV reality star, with a net worth of around of £10million – has been forced out of the family home, together with hubby Paul and their three kids. As a result, the family is living from one hotel to the next, with Sam asking to use other people's washing machines to clean her kids' clothes.

In a post uploaded to her Instagram page, Faiers, 32, told loyal fans that she had been living in temporary accommodation for over a month. She added that she and her family were living out of their washing baskets.

According to The Sun, It is believed that Sam and her family are bed-hopping from hotel to hotel due to ongoing renovations at her mansion, currently valued at £2.5million. In a video uploaded to her profile, Sam explained: "Into our fifth week living from a hotel – this is the fifth hotel.

"I'm actually living from baskets at the moment," she continued. Sam is well acquainted to staying in lavish hotels after recently letting her hair down whilst staying at the one of the world's best hotels.

Faiers, together with Paul and kids – Paul, 7; Rosie, 5 and Edward, 8 months – recently enjoyed some time off relaxing at the five-star Atlantis Royal. For just one night's stay in the luxury hotel, a room will set customers back an eye-watering £1,000.

While Sam and her family are setting up camp in hotels, extensive work is going on at her multi-million pound pad as it undergoes major renovations. The huge home in Surrey has a huge garden that could in itself look more like a park.

Before she moved into the house she calls home, Sam had been renting out various properties in the Cobham area of Surrey. At one point, Faiers had been shelfing out a cool £7,000 a month for her lavish lodgings.

Sam, together with sister Billie, first found fame when they appeared on ITV series TOWIE back in 2013. The pair were an instant hit with viewers, eventually being given their own reality show following their stint on the show.

Initially starring both Billie and Sam on the programme The Mummy Diaries, Sam opted to say farewell to the show, leaving Billie to keep the show going. The pair now co-host a podcast, with Sam keeping her collagen business going.

Graceland has been a museum for over 40 years, but Elvis Presley’s daughter always still saw the mansion as home.

Lisa Marie Presley, who died in January, would take her kids to the house for Thanksgiving after the tours stopped, enjoy riding the gold carts and seeing the horses as a family.

When it came to dinner, china plates were taken out of a drawer from Aunt Delta’s bedroom just off Graceland’s kitchen.

They would then be laid out at the dining room table with an extra one added on the end for more guests.

Lisa Marie once told USA Today: “It’s a very special place…it shuts down quite nice at night. I have family that I love very much who live there in Memphis. When I go… I visit [Graceland]. We have dinner there. My family still goes there, and we still have a life there.”

Express.co.uk recently caught up with Graceland archivist and personal friend of Lisa Marie, Angie Marchese, who was in London overseeing the opening of the Direct From Graceland: Elvis exhibition, with over 400 items from the mansion on display.

On Lisa Marie’s Thanksgiving dinners at Graceland, she shared: “The last tour was normally at 5pm and then we would take the ropes down and turn all the kitchen appliances on. Elvis’ original cooks would come and make what they used to make for them, which was quite amazing. And then when the last cook passed away we found a caterer that Lisa liked to come in and make all of her favourite foods.

“It really brought the house to life. It was a fun time to experience Graceland in that way and they’d all leave at like two or three in the morning and then we’d put the ropes back up, turn the equipment off, put the Plexiglass back on and tourists would come through the next day.”

On if Lisa Marie ever stayed upstairs at Graceland, which is off-limits to tourists, over Thanksgiving she said: “Lisa did a couple of times, but normally not.”

And with her untimely death, will Elvis’ granddaughter Riley Keough and her teenage half-sisters keep up the Thanksgiving traditions at the mansion?

Angie said: “I hope so. I think Riley and the girls have a different connection with Graceland than Lisa did. They’re a generation removed from it, they never knew Elvis, they only know Graceland through their mom and through what she shared with them about the house and their memories of the house being there with her.

“I think those things will still happen in time. I think right now family is still obviously processing everything and trying to find what their new normal is.”

Actor Rory Kinnear is calling for improved safety on movie sets – 30 years after his father was killed in an accident.

Roy Kinnear died after being thrown from a horse while filming The Return of the Musketeers in 1988 when Rory was just 10 years old.

The star, who has appeared in the recent Bond films as well as Black Mirror, said: "Thirty years later, things simply haven’t changed."

Rory was speaking out two years after the death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and in the wake of Top Gear being taken off air following Freddie Flintoff’s injury. Here Daily Star looks at 10 shocking accidents on film sets.

The Crow

In 2021, Halyna Hutchins was killed by a live bullet fired from a prop gun being used by actor Alec Baldwin on the set of the film Rust. But actor Brandon Lee died in similar circumstances while making The Crow in 1993. Due to a mix-up, a prop gun was wrongly prepared with a dummy bullet for a scene where the star’s character is shot in the stomach from just a few feet away.

Roar

Up to 100 cast and crew were attacked by wild, untrained, animals during the filming of this 1981 movie. It followed two wildlife conservationists and starred Noel Marshall, Tippi Hedren and her daughter Melanie Griffith. Marshall almost lost an arm when he was bitten by a lion. Hedren fractured her ankle and contracted gangrene after being picked up in an elephant’s trunk while Griffith quit after being attacked by a lioness, almost losing an eye and needing 50 stitches. A crew member was scalped, while another almost lost an ear.

Top Gun

Seasoned stunt pilot and aerial cameraman Art Scholl was killed in a plane crash during the filming of Top Gun in 1985. After losing control of the aircraft following an inverted spin, Scholl plummeted into the Pacific Ocean, losing contact with the film’s ground crew. Both his body and the plane were never recovered.

Kill Bill

In 2018, Quentin Tarantino apologised after Uma Thurman accused him of bullying her into driving an unsafe car on this 2003 film, saying it was “the biggest regret of my life”. The car crashed after it was decided to drive it in a different, untested, direction, crushing Thurman’s knees and leaving her with concussion.

Twilight Zone: The Movie

A helicopter crash killed actor Vic Morrow as well as two children aged six and seven in a scene involving explosions which damaged the aircraft’s rotors. Six more people were injured. The production team was later found responsible for several labour violations, prompting the introduction of new safety standards.

Resident Evil: The Final Chapter

Crew member Ricardo Cornelius was crushed to death by a Hummer vehicle while stuntwoman Olivia Jackson was severely injured. She spent 17 days in a coma and had to have her left arm amputated after crashing into a metal camera during a high-speed motorcycle stunt. She also suffered brain swelling, punctured lungs and a severed neck artery on the 2015 movie.

Maze Runner: The Death Cure

The 2018 dystopian film’s star Dylan O’Brien almost quit acting after the motorcycle he was driving fell into a slide and left him with a concussion, brain trauma and a facial fracture. He underwent facial surgery and admits he still has a “degree of anxiety” when it comes to action scenes.

The Force Awakens

Harrison Ford, then 71, had to have surgery on a broken leg after being struck by a heavy hydraulic metal door on the set of the 2014 Star Wars flick. Director J. J. Abrams also injured his back while helping lift the door off Ford’s leg.

The Passion of the Christ

Playing Jesus in this controversial 2004 drama left actor Jim Caviezel with a 14-inch scar to his back from multiple whippings, hypothermia, and a dislocated shoulder from carrying a giant cross. He was also struck by lightning while filming the Sermon on the Mount Scene as was a crew member – twice.

Vampire in Brooklyn

The 1995 Eddie Murphy film became a real horror when stuntwoman Sonja Davis was killed. She hit her head making a 47ft backwards jump from a building for a scene. Friends said she’d refused the job initially, but then accepted after being offered more money.
