Alec and Hilaria Baldwin have busy Mother’s Day as they travel from Vermont to NYC … as actor hails his wife as ‘a saint’ in emotional message

Alec and Hilaria Baldwin had a busy Mother’s Day as they traveled from their Arlington, Vermont farm home to their residence in New York City on the holiday.

The famous couple was seen departing their Vermont home, with the help of nannies, as they drove back to the city with Alec in a pair of SUVs.

The Oscar-nominated actor, 64, was clad in a puffy black jacket over a black top with dark pants and black shoes on the outing.

The Cooler star had his grey locks combed to the side on the day out. 

Hilaria, 38, wore a grey long-sleeved turtleneck top with baggy off-white pants and brown boots on the spring day.

The yoga expert, who is expecting her seventh child with the Glengarry Glen Ross actor, wore her light brown locks parted and donned a pair of gold hoop earrings and brown tinted sunglasses. 

Alec and Hilaria are parents to daughters Carmen, eight, and María Lucía, 13 months, and sons Rafael, six, Leonardo, five, Romeo, three, and Eduardo, 18 months; Alec is also father to model Ireland Baldwin, 26, with ex-wife Kim Basinger, 68.

Baldwin was seen exiting his vehicle as the family returned from Vermont

The 30 Rock alum toted a clear chest of what appeared to be food out of the back of his SUV

Hilaria received a helping hand from a nanny as she grabbed clothes, bags and other materials from a vehicle 

The family was later spotted as they arrived back in New York City, unloading their luggage from the vehicles after the weekend.

Alec on Sunday took to Instagram with an emotional message as he hailed his spouse as ‘a saint’ in wishing his family, friends and fans a happy Mother’s Day.

‘My kids are remarkably lucky,’ Alec said. ‘They’re so lucky because Hilaria is such a good mom, she’s just the most incredible mother, she loves her kids and she’s so patient with them; sometimes I just want to just ship them off to military school, I’m kidding but, my patience is not as vast as hers and reliable as hers.

Alec donned a monochromatic ensemble as he stepped out of his vehicle after the family arrived back in NYC 

The veteran actor appeared to be deep in thought as he posted an emotional message on social media Sunday 

Hilaria, who is expecting the couple’s seventh child together, appeared focused as she and Alec unpacked their vehicles to wrap up the weekend   

Hilaria carried her child and a baby bottle as she double checked the vehicle upon parking 

‘My wife is a saint and I’m sorry, as you can imagine, for people who don’t have their mothers today on Mother’s Day … so happy Mother’s Day to all of you.’

He reminisced about their large family, saying, ‘Happy Mother’s Day to my wife Hilaria – when I met her I had one child, and now I have seven and we’re about to have an eighth because the best way to put it is, that’s what I’m doing now with my life.’

He added: ‘Happy Mother’s Day to all you mothers out there; happy Mother’s Day to my sisters and to my brothers and their wives, their daughters who have children, happy Mother’s Day to my mom, my father‘s mother – I was very close to her my grandmother, my father‘s mother, who died so many years ago.’

Earlier in the clip, Baldwin said that ‘a lot of change is coming’ and he hopes it is ‘for the better.’
