Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden wowed fans on Friday afternoon as she shared a throwback bikini snap on social media platform Instagram.
Sporting a red bikini, the veteran presenter, 51, showed off her toned abs and long legs in the photo, as she posed in the Los Angeles sunshine armed with a glass of Aperol Spritz.
Shielding her eyes from the sun’s rays with a chic pair of shades, Amanda went on to caption the picture: “This isn’t an #Ad for @aperolspritzuk although it probably should be. #fbf# take me back to sunny #LA to a gorgeous stay @fourseasons thanks to @trendingtravel.co.uk”
It wasn’t the first snap to be a big hit with fans in recent days, with many of her followers also praising her tongue in cheek recreation of Thelma and Louise as she went for a ride with her sister Deborah in a vintage Morris Minor convertible over the weekend.
It was the first time the pair had been reunited in over two years, as the coronavirus pandemic and travel restrictions had kept them apart. Clearly enjoying the reunion, Amanda was all smiles as she shared a number of images enjoying the Bank Holiday weekend with her sibling.
Sharing the occasion on Instagram, Amanda revealed a charming photo of her sat inside the iconic car as she penned: “If you know you know #morrisminor1000 #moggy #bankholiday.”
The presenter also went on to joke that she and Deborah were 'Thelma and Louise', as they posed inside a vintage, mint green, Morris Minor 1000 car – worth around £13,000.
In a tribute to the iconic 1990s film that starred Geena Davis, Susan Sarandon and Brad Pitt, the pair tucked their hair beneath a pair of headscarves before Amanda took her place in the driving seat.
Originally released at Cannes in 1991, Thelma and Louise has proved to be a firm fan favourite, as it charts the tale of two best friends who set out on an adventure, only to end up in a terrifying chase trying to outrun the police.
In another photo, Amanda also stunned fans with the striking similarity the siblings share as they posed for a selfie together.
Sharing the sun-soaked snap on her story, the pair of blonde bombshells flashed a smile as they relaxed with a glass of wine.
Captioning the story, Amanda wrote: “Reunited after 2 years #sisters”.
Up until now, the siblings had been unable to see each other, as Deborah lives in Thailand. This meant that due to ongoing Covid restrictions and busy work schedules the sisters have been separated for over two years.
Deborah made the 30 hour journey back to the UK last week and documented the journey on Instagram. She wrote: “And so it begins. A 30 hour journey until my final destination. Farewell Koh Lanta. See you in a few months.”
Yet even despite the two-year absence, Amanda and Deborah still share a close bond, with Deborah even sharing a throwback post on International Sister’s Day to say how much she missed her older sister.
Alongside an image of the pair together, Deborah said “Missing my sister today, and most days…."
