Bruce Springsteen And The E Street Band Perform Live For First Time In Four Years

Bruce Springsteen returned to “Saturday Night Live” on Saturday, December 12, performing along with the E Street Band for the first time in 4 years.

Introduced by guest host Timothee Chalamet, the musicians performed the songs “Ghost” and “I’ll See You In My Dreams” taken from their most recent album, Letter To You, released this October.

Bassist Garry Tallent and violinist Soozie Tyrell were absent from the performance due to COVID-19-related health concerns.

In a statement given earlier at the time of the release of the album, Springsteen shared that the song “Ghosts” was created as a tribute to the late Clarence Clemons and Danny Federici, both previous members of the band.
