So soon: Catherine Zeta-Jones revealed she was 10 DAYS from giving birth to daughter Carys when she was lifted on stage on a crane during her 2003 Oscars performance

‘As the crane was taking us up I remember thinking I’ve got ten days to go before I give birth and I’m standing on a crane before being hoisted out with Queen Latifah, to sing live at the Oscars.

‘”What? Shouldn’t you be at home eating chocolate with your feet up, with your husband massaging your feet?”‘

Also talking about her dress at the Oscars ceremony, Catherine added: ‘In the joy of me being with child and being nominated for an Oscar that year, Donatella made me this beautiful silk palette style dress that fit right under the bust.

‘It was flowy and comfortable, easy to sit in for a very long Oscars ceremony. It is beautiful in nature, tent like in shape and then I took home my golden boy.’
