Tyler appeared to reveal the name of his newest sibling during an appearance on Lorraine earlier in the day, excitedly telling the host he wanted to give a shout-out to his family.

He said: ‘Hi mum, I love you mummy. Hi dad, Wilfred, Olive, Doris, Birdie… I love you all. Sorry, I’ve always wanted to do that,’ which led Lorraine to agree that he ‘had all the family covered.’

During the interview, Ty, 17, also spoke of the moment he met his adopted dad on the set of Doctor Who when he was just five years old.

The budding actor spoke of his close bond with the sci-fi superstar whom he calls his father, and why he would love to be the third Doctor in the family.

David met Ty’s mum Georgia when she had a guest role in the 2008 episode The Doctor’s Daughter- and it was then when Ty met his TV hero.

‘It was great, I was five when I first met my dad, my mum was working on Doctor Who at the time,’ Ty said.

‘I watched him on TV as the hero, and it was crazy how much your life can change.’

Ty has followed in his father and mother’s footsteps, starring as Tom in H. G. Wells’ War of The Worlds.

The talented teenager has also appeared in Casualty, and made his big screen debut with the role of young Christopher Wisemanin 2019’s Tolkien.

Doting dad: In 2012 (pictured) Scottish actor David revealed he had become a ‘double dad’ after adopting Tyler a year earlier, the same year he wed Ty’s mother Georgia

‘I never dreamed I’d be doing this’, Ty told Lorraine, before admitting he ‘would love to’ play the third Doctor in the family.

David played the doctor from 2005 to 2010, while Georgia’s dad Peter Davison played the titular Time Lord between 1981 and 1984.

When Lorraine asked if he wanted to pursue a singing career, the teen said: ‘I don’t think I’m at the point yet, I’m really into Led Zeplin, best band of all time. I don’t know how it’s not the big hit of this time.’

Ty is fast approaching his 18th birthday and when the Scottish host asked what he was planning on doing for the milestone, Ty replied: ‘I’m not too sure if I’ll have a big party or just chill.’

Ty previously told MailOnline that he was eager to hone his craft, and was picking up on acting tips from everyone he knows, including his famous father.

He explained: ‘I’m so young in my career and I’m still learning a lot and I’m so lucky to have these people around me who know the industry very well.

‘And they’re just very inspirational so that’s something I can really thrive on. Just having these people who know their stuff.’

Tyler did, however, reveal that his father had imparted specific words of wisdom for how the aspiring star should conduct himself on film sets.

‘Never be late. Always be on time. Don’t skip the lunch queue so you don’t look like a bit of an idiot, and just be kind and friendly and know your lines.’

In March 2012 Scottish actor David revealed he had become a ‘double dad’ after adopting Tyler a year earlier.

The former Doctor Who told Absolute Radio at the time: ‘My baby is almost a year old and I adopted my wife’s boy last year as well so I became a father twice in six months – that’s got to be something of a record hasn’t it?’

Georgia gave birth to Tyler in 2002, when she was just 17. She brought him up alone and has never publicly revealed who the father is.

David and Georgia wed in 2011 and went on to have children Olive, eight, Wilfred, six, Doris, four, and welcomed their fifth child together in October.

Last December, David Tennant has discussed becoming a father on Jonathan Ross show.

The Broadchurch star gushed: ‘[I have] five [children now] it’s quite a lot, it’s a sofa full! It is great. It’s a lot of work but there’s nothing like it really.

The thespian let slip their exciting pregnancy news whilst recording The Late Late Show with James Corden.

Host James, 41, brought up the news on his show, saying to David: ‘We were just talking backstage, this is blowing my mind. You have four children already, your oldest is 17.

‘You just told me you and your wife, the lovely Georgia, are expecting your fifth child.’

David then admitted their growing family has become cause for concern in Ty, who is now giving his parents ‘lectures on birth control’.

The Good Omens star said: ‘I know! Five is a lot. What’s really weird about it is we’re now getting lectures on birth control from our 17-year-old son. And that’s definitely meant to be the other way around.

‘He’s like “Come on, do I need to teach you the basics?” It’s mental. It’s a lot.’
