First Dates’ Cici Coleman has revealed she was ‘one step away from being homeless’ before landing her role on the Channel 4 dating show.

The TV star and waitress, 35, – who is currently holidaying in Bali – shared candid details about her life in a Q&A on Instagram, admitting she had ‘no idea what she wanted to do’ when she was younger but that she ‘had hope.’

Cici landed her role as a waitress on First Dates back in 2015 when she was 28-years-old.

Cici asked her followers encouraged her followers to ‘ask her anything’ and one replied: ‘Is it a bad thing that I don’t know what I want to do or who I am at 25?’

Cici reassured her follower in the reply and said: ‘Mate. At 25 I was one step away from being homeless. I had zero idea what I wanted to do. But I had hope.’

The blonde beauty continued: ‘Take the pressure off having the answers. You have your whole life ahead of you to figure out who you are. That doesn’t come overnight. It’s a continuous lesson.

‘Each moment is a new experience where we get to learn something about ourselves. Try out different jobs, make more mistakes, figure out through those mistakes (lessons) what you do and don’t like. 

‘And don’t forget to have fun on the journey. Also imagine how boring life would be if you had it all figured out. There wouldn’t be any room for improvement. My mistakes have been my greatest teachers.’ 

It comes after last week Cici showcased her enviable beach body in a slew of Instagram snaps from her sun-soaked Bali getaway.

Enjoying the idyllic sea views from her glass balcony, the reality star framed her face with a pair of black sunglasses while her blonde tresses cascaded down her back.

Taking to her Stories to detail her excitement at being abroad, she said: ‘So Friday looks a little bit like this!

‘I have very, very, very, very kindly been gifted a stay at this absolutely stunning villa.

‘It’s three levels! I’m not going to go through the whole thing because it’s too much… got my own little private pool…

‘They told me to make sure I lock all the doors because of the monkeys. The monkeys will try and get in and apparently they are very sneaky, so they steal all your mini bar! I am living in a little dream world!’

Giving her following a sneak peek of her stunning hotel suite, she tried to figure out which of its opulent three bedrooms she would be sleeping in.

She said: ‘So I think this is the room I am going to stay in look at it!

‘It’s got a little welcome message! I feel very, very lucky, very, very blessed. I don’t really know what to do with myself.’  

In her caption, CiCi wrote: ‘Buzzing. Haven’t even been here half a day and I’m already in love with this place.
