The Masked Singer has an official premiere date!
Fox has announced that the popular reality competition series, with judges Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg, Robin Thicke, Ken Jeong and Nicole Scherzinger with host Nick Cannon, will be back on September 23.
In a video teaser, Fox also gave fans a sneak peek at the costumes that we’ll be seeing on stage and they include Gremlin, Snow Owl, Crocodile, Giraffe, Broccoli, Popcorn, Seahorse, Jellyfish, Mushroom, Whatchamacalit, Squiggly Monster, Dracula, Dragon, Baby Alien and Sun.
“Obviously it’s difficult shooting during the pandemic, but it’s made us be more creative as producers than we have ever been,” executive producer Craig Plestis shared with Variety in a recent interview. “You’re going to see some incredible innovations this season, because we’re forced to be more creative and you’re going to see different ways we do the stage productions.”
He adds, “The clue packages are completely different this season. The costumes: there are costumes that season that we’ve never done before in the history of Masked Singer, either in America or around the world, that people will be talking about it.”
