Gemma Collins begs her trainer for a ‘day off’ amid a gruelling workout schedule after impressive three stone weight loss

She’s lost an impressive three stone thanks to her commitment to a gruelling workout regime.

And Gemma Collins begged her relentless personal trainer CJ for a day off from exercising on Friday.

But the TOWIE star, 33, was shown no mercy by the fitness guru who told her to ‘come on’ and continue with their intense outdoor workout.

In a hilarious Instagram story Gemma asked her trainer, who was skipping in the garden: ‘Can I have a day off?.’ 

‘No you can’t! No Gem come on’ replied CG as she danced from one foot to the other ready for action. 

‘Please,’ begged the reality star, as she giggled at the cheeky request.  

The surprising lapse in motivation comes after Gemma battled through her early morning workout despite being hungover last Sunday.

Gemma told her followers: ‘Guys if you had a glass too many no excuses!!! You can move your candy today, yes we all went out yesterday. I did, everyone did. But we’ve got to get back on it today… 

‘Everything’s open now. Can we resist the temptation?… I did go out last night I had two glasses of wine and I can feel it today so I’m just putting this out there for anyone that had a few little drinks yesterday… 

‘I’m gonna be honest, well deserved because I think part of a lifestyle change if you go too hard then I think its easier to fall off the wagon,

The motivational video came after Gemma encouraged her fans to lose weight naturally earlier this month. 

Previously, the reality star had advocated for the controversial weight loss injections SkinnyJab.

Speaking on the GC podcast she told her listeners: ‘I’m not promoting any diet injections or anything like that.

‘I kind of regret doing it but I feel like sometimes you’re in such a desperate place and you want to lose weight but actually I’ve come away from all the diet promotion because I wish we could get rid of that word diet.

‘It is so important that we keep getting that message home to people, that beauty is more than just these pumped-up faces, it’s not all about that.’

‘I’m not promoting any diet injections’: The reality star has been encouraging her fans to get in shape naturally after denouncing controversial weight loss jabs  

She continued: ‘It’s me Gemma, my new name is fitness queen. Since turning 40 I’ve become so much more aware of my health and I’m kind of regretting maybe not taking my health as seriously as I should have done.’ 

Gemma revealed that her new diet on her ‘massive health drive’ includes scrambled eggs, avocados and bacon, plus some small treats like jelly and nuts.

She explained that she has also been taking part in more exercise, and even wants to run the London marathon. 

She shared: ‘I’ve gone health-obsessed mad and I’m loving it. I am feeling so fabulous about exercise. Imagine if I could do the London Marathon. Maybe I could. I would love to do it.’
