And Giorgio Armani, 88, looked in his element as he hung out on the beach during this week’s sizzling temperatures.
The designer stripped down to a pair of navy swimming trunks as he chatted with friends while enjoying a cooling dip in the sea.

Giorgio looked tanned as he paddled in the shallow water with some male friends.
He added a navy blue baseball cap to keep cool under the sun, with his initials stitched on the side.
He later threw a white t-shirt and shorts over his swimwear for a stroll along the sand after resting in the shade on his beach chair.

The notoriously private designer gave an interview to Town & Country magazine last year, during which he was asked what he hoped his impact on the fashion world would be.
‘The legacy I’d like to leave is one of hard work, respect, and attention to reality,’ he explained.
