Hilary Duff reveals she is suffering from the Delta variant of COVID-19 just days after starting work on the set of How I Met Your Father

Hilary Duff has revealed she has contracted COVID-19, despite being vaccinated. 

The actress revealed she was suffering from a ‘bad headache’, loss of taste and smell, sinus pressure, and brain fog in an Instagram Story she posted Friday. 

The mother, 33, posted a slightly somber selfie from bed, along with a caption written over her face as she broke the bad news.

‘That delta … She’s a little b**ch. Symptoms: bad headache. No taste or smell. Sinus pressure. Brain fog,’ Hilary wrote. 

‘Happy to be vaxxed,’ she concluded, along with a peace sign emoji. 

The update comes just about three days after the Younger star posted another selfie, this time in the company of costars at 20th Century Studios in Los Angeles, California.

Duff was on the set of her new show How I Met Your Father, a spinoff of the hit sitcom How I Met Your Mother which is slated for release on Hulu.

In the social media post, the actress sat in a director’s chair in the center of the photo while six of her castmates surrounded her. 

Two held scripts with the show title for How I Met Your Father. 

‘Who’s ready for us??? We may or may not have been sitting in front of a certain someones apartment…. #himyf,’ Hilary captioned the photo.

For the former Disney star, it seems that her case of Covid is also what’s known as a breakthrough case, as she has previously been vaccinated against the disease.
