Holly Willoughby: ‘Trying to kill me’ This Morning star shocked by Piers Morgan discovery

The bizarre hairdryer featuring Good Morning Britain host Piers Morgan, 53, was unveiled on the show today. Hours later, This Morning host Holly Willoughby, 37, appeared shocked as she tested the new product. Taking to her Instagram with 5.4 million followers, she shared a video of her with the new gadget switched on, commenting: “I think Piers Morgan is trying to kill me!” There is smoke coming out the back of this. I mean he is really full of hot air.”

Holly then pulled a shocked face to the camera before adding: “Oh my god, I mean… thanks for this.”

The mother-of-three shared the video with the caption: “@piersmorgan … outrageous! [Flame emoji].”

Ahead of the video, the presenter shared a picture of her wind swept look after using the powerful product.

In view of her followers, she commented: “#gifted #unwanted #heateddebate… photo taken shortly before @piersmorgan tried to kill me… video to follow.”

Many of Holly’s fans flocked to her page to comment, with one writing: “Just what u always wanted. Lol.”(sic)

Holly’s co-star Rochelle Humes, 30, also commented: “Omg,” while a third added: “This has made my day.”

Her post comes just weeks after Piers reacted after the former destroyed his Life Stories set.

As part of a segment on Celebrity Juice, host Keith Lemon, 45, instructed Holly and her co-star Paddy McGuinness, 45, to jokingly smash up his studio.

The duo were filmed hilariously using items such as silly string and toilet roll to cause mess.

Paddy could also be heard saying: “F*** you Morgan,” while Holly told him to “get the stuffing out”.

Following their comedic antics, Piers uploaded the picture to his Twitter page, commenting: “When the halo slips… I’ll exact revenge for this outrage @hollywilloughby @mcguinness.paddy & it will make your trashing of my Life Stories set look like a tea party.”

Piers also addressed the clip on his ITV show alongside Susanna Reid and Charlotte Hawkins.

His female co-stars giggled as they watched the clip, while Piers appeared unimpressed.

He said: “Two words, McGuinness, Willoughby – dead meat.

“Oh don’t worry, revenge is a dish best tasted cold. Chillingly cold.”

This Morning airs weekdays from 10.30am on ITV.
