I'm A Celeb fans left in stitches after Ant and Dec 'swear' live on TV

‘Only Ant and Dec could get away with saying k**b on live telly!’: I’m A Celebrity fans are left in stitches after presenters ‘swear’ live on air during show’s first episode back down under

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! fans were left in stitches after Ant and Dec ‘swore’ on live TV during a presenting segment.

The TV stars, Anthony McPartlin, 46, and Declan Donnelly, 47, welcomed audiences back down under for the first series filmed in Australia since 2019.

And with a peak of over 10 million viewers last night, all eyes were on the new celeb campmates and the iconic presenting duo – who left fans laughing more than normal after they said the words ‘k**b’ and ‘t****r’ live on air.

After Olivia Attwood and Chris Moyles got the title of ‘VIPs’ not long after arriving at the luxurious villa where the celebs meet for the first time, the pair were nervous – as they knew any special treatment would not be without its hidden down side.

On what was to follow from their swanky seafood meal by the port, Dec told viewers: ‘So Chris and Olivia think being chosen as VIPs won’t be a good thing – they’re so paranoid! So suspicious, so, uh, what’s the word… correct!

‘Because on this show VIP means very isolated people – we will find more about their fate very very shortly.’

Ant then quipped: ‘But while Chris and Olivia are VIPs, the other celebs are t*****s.’

Dec told his co-star: ‘Whoa, you can’t just say that! Not on camera anyway!’

But Ant insisted: ‘No, no! T*****s! Three obviously scared seriously excited random stars! T*****s!’

Following on from his fellow presenter, Dec added: ‘Ah, t*****s! He loves an acronym he does.

‘Is that like when you call me a k**b? What does that stand for? No ordinary broadcaster?’

Ant replied, ‘Yes! That’s it!’ leaving the crew behind the camera in stitches.

Continuing on with the segment, Dec said: ‘Here is Babatunde, Charlene and Jill getting ready to board a helicopter.’

Just before rolling the VT, Ant tells Dec: ‘You’re such a k**b!’. ‘Thank you very much!’, Dec says back.

New friend: Olivia was able to choose one of her fellow contestants to join her for a VIP meal at the villa, so she chose radio DJ Chris Moyles

‘I literally crack me up right there and then Declan said “k**b”. This years show contains strong language.’

Earlier in the episode, stars including Boy George and Chris Moyles began their jungle journey.

But with the imminent jungle arrival of Tory MP Matt Hancock next week, Ant and Dec confirmed there will be two ‘extra arrivals’ and poked fun at the disgraced former health secretary.

After Matt Hancock’s appearance on the show was widely publicised, Dec quipped: ‘You are going to be surprised, guys. We are going to be rolling out the welcome mat for them soon.’

Matt, 44, was seen arriving in Australia earlier this week after it emerged he was going to make a controversial appearance on the show. He will also be joined later in the series by comedian Seann Walsh.

Funnyman Seann was caught kissing his Strictly Come Dancing professional partner Katya Jones in 2018 when he appeared on the show while he was dating actress Rebecca Humphries.
