Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello are heaving for divorce – and luckily they made preparations for this sad eventuality.
Ahead of their 2015 nuptials, the pair reportedly signed a $100 million premarital agreement to protect their individual fortunes.
The pair had multi-millions to secure as Hollywood star Sofia is said to have a staggering $180 million net worth, while the Magic Mike star is reportedly worth $40 million.
Although the estranged couple has remained tight-lipped about their divorce process, the prenup suggests it will be a straightforward agreement when it comes to finances.
With the end of their eight-year marriage, Daily Express US explores just what fortunes the couple will be protecting.
The Columbian-born star has been in the spotlight since she was just 17 years old but only became a household name after her role on ABC’s hit sitcom Modern Family.

Sofia starred as the feisty yet fun-loving Gloria Delgado-Pritchett throughout the tenure of the show which premiered in 2009 and ended in 2020.
As well as catapulting the 51-year-old into stardom, Forbes reported she was earning “$500,000 per episode,” with each season averaging 22 episodes.
Sofia was also named the “highest-paid TV actress” by Forbes in 2020 after raking in a reported $ 43 million.
Despite the show’s conclusion, Sofia remained on prime-time TV as one of the judges on NBC’s popular competition series, America’s Got Talent alongside Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, and Howie Mandel.
After joining the show in its 15th season, Sofia takes home a reported salary of $10 million per season, earning $70,000 per episode
She remains on the judging panel with the show’s 18th season currently in full swing.
The mother of one also ventured into the world of business and partnered with Walmart to offer a “size-inclusive,” women’s clothing line.
In June, Sofia launched her beauty brand, Toty which markets ‘multi-benefit suncare solutions.’

As for Joe Manganiello, he catapulted into stardom after landing a role in 2012’s hit pulse-racing movie, Magic Mike as Big D*ck Richie alongside Channing Tatum.
He later went on to star in the film’s sequels including the more recent Magic Mike’s The Last Dance.
Despite his previous appearances in Spider-Man and Rampage, Joe is well recognized for his stint in HBO’s vampire series, True Blood where he played werewolf Alcide Herveaux.
As well as his work on screens, the 46-year-old has also worked behind the scenes as a director, producer, and writer.
He made his directional debut in 2014 with the documentary film La Bare which according to IMDb explores “the history, lives and culture of the most popular male strip club in the world, La Bare Dallas.”
Joe is also associated with the popular Dungeons and Dragons franchise as his vast knowledge of the game led to him to become a D&D writer, consultant, and ambassador.
Earlier this year, Joe confirmed to Comicbook that he is developing a D&D documentary and a television show, but didn’t reveal any details.
