Jamie Foxx’s daughter Corinne and fellow family members were seen at a physical rehab center in Chicago, which specializes in treating ‘the most severe, complex conditions’ – as the actor recovers after suffering a mystery health scare last month.

Oscar winner Foxx, 55,  born Eric Bishop, was filming the action-comedy Back In Action with Cameron Diaz in Atlanta, Georgia, in April when he was admitted to hospital, although little is known of the intricacies of the situation.

On May 12, Corrine, 29, spoke out to share an update about his condition, insisting that her father had been ‘out of the hospital for weeks’ and had even been ‘playing pickleball’. That details of that statement were then confirmed to DailyMail.com by a spokesperson for Foxx.

However just two days later, Corrine was pictured arriving at the facility, which is touted as the top physical medicine and rehabilitation center in the country, and specializes in the treatment of severe conditions like strokes, traumatic brain injuries, and spinal cord injuries.

Corinne was seen embracing her partner Joseph Hooten as she left the rehab center with friends and family. Foxx’s younger daughter Annalise, 13 was also seen at the center with her mom Kristin Grannis.

It still remains unclear what happened to Foxx  – the facility specializes in stroke recovery, traumatic brain injury rehab, spinal cord injury rehab and amputation and cancer related impairment.

Foxx is understood to have arrived at the facility in late April and is ‘recovering well’ after first getting treatment at a hospital in Atlanta.

Annalise was seen bringing her guitar to visit her father to no doubt pick up his spirits with the power of music

Kristin was also  seen leaving the facility with flowers and a balloon for Mother’s Day.

Days ago it was revealed that the A-lister has been out of hospital for weeks and has been recuperating at home, his older daughter revealed.

Corinne took to Instagram on Friday denying reports that her father was still in hospital – and even claimed the actor has been active and playing pickleball.

A spokesperson for Foxx also confirmed to DailyMail.com that the actor is out of hospital.

It is still unclear what the actor has been in hospital for, with his family reluctant to release any specific information.

‘My Dad has been out of the hospital for weeks, recuperating. In fact, he was playing pickleball yesterday! Thanks for everyone’s prayers and support!’

The shock update comes amid conflicting reports about his condition following his recent hospitalization.

Foxx had been believed to be seeking treatment in a medical facility in the state undergoing tests – however, his daughter claims he has now been released.

His daughter appeared to be taking aim at a report by the gossip site Radar that claimed his family were ‘preparing for the worst.’

That report mentioned his daughter Corinne and that she had not given any specifics over his current state of health.

Sources claimed to the site that Foxx suffers from high blood pressure and that he was ‘lucky to be alive,’

Last week, sources told Page Six that ‘nothing had changed’ and the actor was ‘still in the same condition’, after his health scare. MailOnline has contacted representatives for Jamie for comment.

In an Instagram post on Wednesday, his family posted on his profile said: ‘Appreciate all the love!!! Feeling blessed’ followed by praying hands, heart and fox emojis.’

It’s unclear if Foxx himself made the post. At that point, no further details on his condition had been shared, leading to speculation about how serious his illness is.

The Oscar winner’s account also gave a shout-out on Instagram to friend Nick Cannon who has filled in hosting duties for him on popular game show Beat Shazam.

Celebrities including AJ McLean, Ludacris and DJ Khaled had sent messages of support in response to Foxx’s Instagram post.

Sources close to the comedian recently told TMZ he ‘needs all the prayers and well-wishes his fans can muster’.

‘He’s OK, thank God,’ the source said. ‘He’s still in the hospital and doctors are running tests but he’s awake and alert. They’re keeping him under observation.’
