Julia Fox details struggle with ADHD and reveals she smokes marijuana to quiet her OCD: ‘It’s just too much!’

Uncut Gems alum Julia Fox detailed her struggles functioning with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder in a TikTok she filmed in her bathroom.

‘It’s been very difficult,’ the Italian-born, Manhattan-raised 32-year-old admitted last Friday.

‘I have bouts of, like, great productivity where I’m on top of the world and, like, just feeling, like, I’m invincible. And then, I have moments of like, deep, deep, deep, stagnant type of feeling, like I just can’t f***ing move.’

It’s the first time Julia revealed her diagnosis with the condition where an ongoing pattern of inattention and/or hyperactivity-impulsivity interferes with functioning or development.

‘I’ve never, like, really talked about it but, like, ADHD is really tough,’ Fox stated.

The Tommy Hilfiger catwalker ‘just realized’ she also suffers from obsessive-compulsive disorder, in which persistent/unwanted thoughts/urges/images become intrusive and cause distress or anxiety.

‘I used to count the number of letters inside of words in my head, and I’d always want them to reach to 10, and if I’m not smoking weed, I’m literally counting,’ Julia continued.

As for her OCD, Julia said: ‘I used to count the number of letters inside of words in my head, and I’d always want them to reach to 10, and if I’m not smoking weed, I’m literally counting’

Fox continued: ‘So, the weed quiets down the OCD, but it does not help with the productivity issue with the ADHD. Ugh, it’s just too much!’

Fox previously revealed she was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder as a teenager, and she suffered a near-fatal heroin overdose at age 17.

Fox mothered little Valentino during her three-year marriage to Brooklyn private pilot Peter Artemiev, which ended last year.
