Kate Ferdinand displays her toned post-baby figure in tight activewear as she hits the gym before tucking into a well-earned bacon sandwich… after celebrating son Cree’s first Easter

She sweetly celebrated her three-month-old son Cree’s first Easter at home with her family on Sunday.

And new mum Kate Ferdinand certainly wasn’t taking things easy on Easter Monday as she hit the gym for a workout – later enjoying a well-earned bacon sandwich.

The TV personality, 29, married to Rio Ferdinand, looked incredible as she displayed her toned post-baby figure in skin-tight activewear while working up a sweat.

Kate looked every inch the fitness expert in a black vest top and leggings paired with some matching trainers.

The blonde beauty tied her long locks back into a ponytail, perfect for keeping her tresses out of the way while she dropped and lifted a weight ball.

She effortlessly completed each list and even joked about her animated facial expressions as she shared the short clip to Instagram. 

After finishing the intense bank holiday exercise session, Kate revealed that she and the family had all enjoyed a delicious bacon sandwich.

It’s been an Easter to remember for the Ferdinands, with Kate taking to Instagram on Saturday night to share a a selfie posing with her three-month-old son Cree.

Kate cradled her bundle of joy as he sported a babygrow with a large image of a bunny rabbit on the back, perfect attire for the tot’s first Easter.

Also shared were snapshots of the line-up of personalised gift bags she’d put together for her three stepchildren, as well as an Easter egg hunt schedule.

Well deserved: After completing her bank holiday workout, Kate treated herself and the family to some delicious bacon sandwiches 

Captioning the snaps, she joked that her football star husband should also don a bunny ensemble – but that she’d be ‘pushing her luck’ if she requested this of him.

She wrote: ‘Happy Easter everyone… We have had such a lovely day ☺️ we celebrated a day early, because of lots of football tomorrow.

‘I wish I could get all the big ones (including Rio) in matching bunny outfits but I just about get away with the matching Christmas pjs! Don’t wanna push my luck … so just Cree for now. Hope you all have a lovely long Easter weekend ☺️.’

However, come Easter Sunday morning, Kate appeared to be in a less-than-celebratory mood, as she shared a picture of a bowl of potatoes being soaked.

She wrote: ‘Happy Easter… the worst job for me by far. Need to get it done early I dread peeling the potatoes all morning.’ 

She recently spoke out about the struggles of motherhood as she took to Instagram to share a picture with Cree on Friday.

Posting a mirror selfie in matching black underwear, the new mum revealed that some days she only manages to ‘shower’ and ‘snuggle’ her baby but ‘that’s okay’.

The fitness enthusiast told her followers that, although some days she makes it to the gym, workouts don’t always fit into her new schedule as a mum. 

She wrote:  ‘Some days I make it to the gym and feel ready to take on the world…

‘And other days we shower, get back in bed, snuggle and that’s ok! Being a mum is such a journey, 

‘Since talking to you all and other mums… I’ve really felt like I can relate to you all so much and have stopped beating myself up if every day doesn’t go to plan.’
