The Kardashians star, who has recently changed her hair color from platinum to a warmer and darker honey blonde, introduced the new look two weeks ago on Instagram receiving lots of compliments from friends such as Kelly Rowland, Vanessa Bryant, and from her family members.

Explaining their choice of the 38-year-old as their cover model, Sorbet editors wrote, ‘There aren’t many people in the world that need no introduction and Khloé Kardashian is one of them.’

Listing her accomplishments and influence, the publication contended, ‘since 2007 and Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Khloé has been a TV screen mainstay. The youngest of the three sisters – and we at Sorbet don’t play favorites – but the words ‘favorite’ and ‘Khloé’ do seem to be spoken in the same sentence around here a lot.’

That resolution may be put to the test Monday night when her ex-husband Lamar Odom, 43, opens up about his drug use and how it affected their marriage in TMZ PRESENTS: Lamar Odom: Sex, Drugs & Kardashians. The couple were married from 2009-2016.

In a clip exclusively obtained by DailyMail.com, the star opened up about the moments when he would sneak behind his wife Khloe Kardashian’s back to take drugs with other women in his new special, TMZ PRESENTS: Lamar Odom: Sex, Drugs & Kardashians.

In an exclusive clip from the upcoming show, which airs tonight on Fox, the 43-year-old recalls how he once went so hard during one drug binge that the woman he had been with called his then-wife, 38, to ask for her help.

Explaining how he would trick his wife in order to leave their marital home to do drugs, the former Lakers player states in the clip: ‘What could I actually tell Khloe to leave her for a few hours? To leave and go do drugs with some random woman.’

He continues: ‘I’m going so heavy with the drugs that the woman actually gets into my phone and actually calls Khloe like, “You’ve gotta come and get him. He’s going crazy, he’s going to kill himself.”‘

Lamar and Khloe married in 2009 after just 30 days of knowing one another. They ultimately split in 2013, with their divorce being finalized on December 9, 2016.

In the years since their split, Lamar has been open about battling his severe addiction issues, which saw the star make headlines after he was put on life support after taking a deadly mix of cocaine, alcohol, and a sexual stimulant in 2015.

Before and after announcing his retirement from professional basketball in 2014, the former athlete would often find himself in the news for the wrong reasons.

In 2013, he was arrested for driving under the influence and was thought to have been abusing drugs.

At the time, he had also been married to Khloe for five years, since 2009, and the couple’s publicized marriage was even part of a show called Khloe & Lamar in 2011 before it was canceled a year later because it had ‘worn down’ the basketball star.

Two years later, in 2013, after months of speculated separation, Khloe filed for divorce and for legal restoration of her last name.

The divorce was signed by both parties in July 2015 but did not receive final approval from a judge before being dismissed by request in October 2015, the same month that Lamara was found comatose in a Nevada brothel.

The ex-NBA player was hooked on life support at a Las Vegas hospital and only regained consciousness three days later.

He was eventually transferred to a LA hospital and Khloe decided to withdraw her request for divorce, citing that she wanted to support her estranged husband in making medical decisions during his recovery.

Lamar fully recuperated from the near fatal overdose three months later, in January 2016, before Khloe filed for divorce again in May of that year. Their separation was finalized in December 2016.

In 2017, he opened up about his health struggles, his cocaine addiction, and his road to recovery.

As for his split with Khloe (seen in 2009), he told Andy Cohen last May, ‘Unfortunately due to my behavior and some bad decisions we don’t really talk any longer. I miss [her] tremendously’

He called himself a ‘walking miracle’ who had ‘cheated death’, and acknowledged that his past drug use had made ‘the end of [his basketball] career come along a little faster’.

Since then, the two-time NBA champion has competed in a celebrity boxing match (in 2021 against Aaron Carter, who passed last month) and was part of the Celebrity Big Brother cast earlier this year.

Last May while speaking with Andy Cohen, Lamar took responsibility for his strained relationship with the former E! star.

‘Unfortunately, you know, due to my behavior and some bad decisions we don’t really talk any longer. I miss their family tremendously,’ he said.

The retired professional athlete added, ‘We have to live with the decisions that we make and then, hopefully in time people heal and [will] be able to forgive me.’

Elsewhere in the new show, the star admit that drugs were his ‘girlfriend’ during his failed marriage to Khloe and admitted to putting his ex through ‘really crazy’ ‘s**t’ the world has not been made aware of.
