Lottie Tomlinson has been pictured having a heated exchange with boyfriend Lewis Burton in Dubai where they’ve secretly joined influencers escaping UK lockdown.

The makeup artist, 22, was spotted in shades and a black sundress with Lewis, 28, on Sunday as they had a cigarette in the smoking section of high-end restaurant Nammos.

Lottie, who’s the sister of One Direction star Louis Tomlinson, 29, looked tense as Lewis bent down to her height with his hands in the air.

Fellow diners at the restaurant noticed the row that was happening between the couple of seven-months – with one telling MailOnline they were in ‘disbelief’ over their public spat.

They said: ‘It’s no surprise that neither Lottie or Lewis have posted anything on their social media accounts about being in Dubai.

‘But why they would go to such a well-known, crowded restaurant for Sunday lunch and then have a stand-up row in front of other customers – we were in disbelief.’

Lewis is the former boyfriend of Love Island presenter Caroline Flack, who tragically took her own life aged 40 almost a year ago in February 2020.

MailOnline revealed the pair’s relationship in July, five months after Caroline’s passing.

Lottie and Lewis are currently in Dubai despite the UK being in national lockdown and under strict instruction to stay home amid the global coronavirus pandemic.

It is unknown when the couple flew to the UAE but neither has mentioned being abroad to their followers on Instagram, with Lottie continuing to post throwback images.

In one post, liked by over 133,000 fans and uploaded five days ago, Lottie wears a white top and jeans. She captioned the image: ‘Summer 2020.’

Despite looking back on last summer, it appears Lottie is already enjoying the sun in Dubai after being pictured last week on board a luxury yacht with two pals.

MailOnline has contacted a representative for Lottie.

The boat can sleep up to 12 people in six cabins and has a crew of 15. A week’s charter costs around £265,000 in high season.

Lottie can be seen in shades and a bikini on the 197ft vessel in a picture posted to Instagram, with friend Lou suggesting the group has no plans on returning home by using the caption: ‘For the foreseeable.’

In another post, Lottie poses with the same friends and a glass of wine, with the trio tagged in at upmarket hotel One&Only, The Palm Dubai.

Lottie and Lewis were pictured having a similar heated exchange last August in Ibiza, where they appeared to argue on the beach.

On Friday, MailOnline revealed Mario Falcone, 32, and his fiancée Becky Miesne had also jetted off to Dubai amid the pandemic.

The former TOWIE star was pictured on the beach after staying at the £250-a-night Jumeirah Zabeel Saray Hotel for a 48-hour trip.

Reality stars from shows such as Love Island and TOWIE have come under fire for continuing with holidays abroad.

Last week, ministers stepped up their action against illegal foreign trips with a new ad campaign telling Brits not to travel, as influencers still enjoy life in Dubai.

Warning: The pair being pictured in Dubai comes days after home secretary Priti Patel called out those going on holiday, stating that ‘people should simply not be travelling’

The Government enforced travel ban on the UAE started from 1pm on Friday and the only way influencers can enter the UK now is to fly via third hub, including Doha, Amsterdam or Paris.

Those who made the flight back from Dubai before 1pm will have to quarantine for ten days once they arrive home.

She said: ‘We see plenty of influencers on social media showing off about which parts of the world that they are in, mainly in sunny parts of the world.

‘Going on holiday is not an exemption and it’s important that people stay at home.’
