They’ve managed to avoid much of the drama that has befallen their fellow couples on their Love Island journey. 

Yet with just days to go until the final, Luca Bish and Gemma Owen have had an almighty row, with the scenes set to air on Tuesday night’s show.  

During the episode, the Islanders were tasked with taking on a Mile High-themed challenge, which saw the girls transform into sexy flight attendants.

Throwing herself into the task, Gemma left the boys in awe with her racy antics, that also saw her lick shirtless Adam Collard from his torso up to his neck. 

While the boys seemed impressed by her behaviour, Luca was visibly annoyed, with the girls taking Gemma to one side for a debrief later in the day. 

Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu mused: ‘Was it me or was I seeing that Luca was being a bit weird? Like when you were doing your challenge?’ 

While Indiyah Polack agreed: ‘He was just a little bit of a baby.’

A clearly exasperated Gemma then turned to her fellow Islanders and sighed: ‘It’s really not that deep, but if he’s gonna be a p***k over it then he can do one.’ 

Later in the day, Gemma pulled Luca for a chat, announcing: ‘You can sit here and say that you’re not in a mood… you’re in a mood.’ 

As Luca insisted he wasn’t, Gemma protested: ‘Luca don’t play thick… you were pushing me off, had a face like a slapped a**e, are you 12?!’ 

Moody: Later in the day, Gemma pulled Luca for a chat, announcing: ‘You can sit here and say that you’re not in a mood… you’re in a mood’

The fishmonger then admitted: ‘It’s obviously not nice to see but it’s a challenge so I can’t exactly stay annoyed at you for it.’ 

Yet Gemma was quick to pick up on his wording, responding: ‘So you can’t exactly “stay” annoyed at me for it – so you were annoyed at me for it.’

Walking away from the conversation, Luca muttered ‘it’s doing my head in’, while Gemma sarcastically quipped: ‘well that went well.’

Elsewhere in the episode, the Islanders learn that the public have been voting for their favourite couple and that some Islanders are now at risk of leaving the Villa – yet how many Islanders are dumped is yet to be revealed.

It comes after Luca shocked his fellow Islanders on Monday’s episode after claiming he isn’t punching above his weight in his coupling with Gemma.

The fishmonger, 23, was slammed by viewers on Twitter when he made the surprise remark during a chat with the boys about Michael Owen’s daughter, 19, which soon prompted Paige Thorne to spread the gossip.

After joking that Mark Wright isn’t very good looking and is in over his head with Michelle Keegan , he admitted he believes he hasn’t been ‘punching’ with his partner on the show, which Adam agreed with.

Overhearing his comments, a surprised Paige soon ran over to Gemma, who had been minding her own business in the pool, to tell her the news.

She blurted out: ‘He reckons he’s not punching with you and I was like, “Yes you are.”‘

The girls soon said, ‘What?’ with Gemma asking what the phrase meant. Danica Taylor then explained, ‘So he thinks he’s better. He’s punching… is he joking?’

Overhearing the exchange, Luca – who has been showering Gemma with affection throughout the series – walked over saying, ‘What are you on about?’ with Adam defending his pal, adding, ‘No, I don’t think he’s punching.’
