Luke Shaw has promised the Manchester United fans that the club will "bounce back" following their shocking 3-0 defeat by Tottenham on Monday night.
The Red Devils looked bright early doors, and even came close to opening the scoring through Romelu Lukaku, but the Belgian couldn’t get his shot on target.
After the break the home side set about picking up were they left off, but Tottenham were a different team in the second half, and punished their rivals.
Harry Kane opened the scoring with a looping header, as the Manchester United team became panicked, and attempted to play the ball forward frantically.
Spurs responded by keeping their cool and resorted to picking the Red Devils off on the break, opening them up time and time again.
Lucas Moura made it 2-0 moments later, before the Brazilian put the game to bed with six minutes to go, finishing past David De Gea from close-range.
After the match, Shaw, who was a standout performer for United, in what was a disappointing performance overall, said: "You always see a lot of things in the media that go on about what our dressing room is like.
"But, look, we have a really good spirit, a really good group of lads and a group that want to work, want to achieve big things here.
"We have a really good group and yeah of course we’ll reflect on our day off [on Tuesday] and we’ll come back in on Wednesday.
"We’ve got a really good group, a good group of hard workers and amazing talents everywhere you look on the field. We’ve just got to start taking our chances and I am sure we will start winning more games."
On Twitter he added: "Last night hurt. But I just wanna thank the fans for your amazing support it doesn’t go unnoticed. We will bounce back."
