Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury's reunion branded 'fake' by fans

‘Is anything about them genuine?’: Fans SLAM Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury’s emotional reunion branding it ‘staged’ and ‘fake’ following his fight in Saudi Arabia

Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury have been accused of faking their emotional reunion this week.

The boxer, 23, returned home to the UK on Monday following his boxing match in Saudi Arabia, with the gorgeous influencer capturing the moment he walked through the door.

The Love Island couple – who welcomed daughter Bambi last month – had been separated for three weeks as Tommy trained ahead beating YouTuber Jake Paul, 26, in the ring.

Molly-Mae had decorated their home with balloons and streamers for her ‘champ’s’ arrival and he threw his arms around her while carrying his winning belt.

But Instagram followers were less than convinced the moment was genuine and accused the couple of ‘staging’ the reunion.

‘Everything has to be set up and picture perfect for Insta. As if he’s come back from a fight in Dubai and all he’s got is a backpack and the belt over his shoulder’.

While another wrote: ‘Aye bro she’s had that camera on record and has been in the hall waiting ever since the fight ended.’

A third said: ‘Always filming at the front door? I don’t think so’ and a fourth wrote: ‘And action….’.

While another said: ‘It’s a set up, their whole lives are fake’ and ‘That’s because she’s sent him out 8 times to redo the entrance’ and ‘“Let me set me tripod up before ye come in”’

With a sixth joking: ‘[Tommy] Didn’t even wash his hands, shower, or ate, straight from Dubai with the camera ready. Same with those people who film themselves “waking up” in bed and then stretch….’

However others came to the couples defence with one commenting: ‘OMG right, hugging your loved one is so unnatural, has to be staged. Also there’s no possible way he left his luggage in his car while he said hello to everyone. So freaking inauthentic, no one says hi after a trip, I immediately isolate myself to put every single thing away’.

With a second writing: ‘Could have left more luggage in the car to deal with in the morning, plus I assume she has his flight info so knows when he’s getting home to set up the cam.’

Tommy defeated Jake Paul via split decision in Saudi Arabia – but it wasn’t without its drama and controversy.

Tommy was the rightful winner in the end – with the judges calling the fight 76-73, 76-73, 74-75 in his favour – but with a point deduction and a knockdown against his name, it was far from plain sailing.

Success: Tommy defeated long-term rival Jake Paul by split decision in Saudi Arabia on Sunday evening

This fight between the British former Love Island contestant and an American who found fame through YouTube was the result of over two years of social media warfare that saw a clash culminate only at the third time of asking.

Tommy had to pull out of the two previously arranged contests and was bombarded with claims that he was scared to fight the seemingly less decorated boxer in Paul.

The star always maintained he had to pull out of his dates with Paul for legitimate injury and visa-related reasons.

It’s no wonder after finally being able to prove himself right that the Mancunian was moved to tears as he was announced the victory.
