‘He sees her as an available womb’: Nick Cannon is accused of ‘misogyny and harassment’ after revealing he wants to have baby number 13 with newly-single Taylor Swift

Nick Cannon has been accused of harassing Taylor Swift after he publicly announced he’d love to have his 13th child with her.

Cannon, 42, who shares 12 children with six different women, appeared on The Howard Stern Show on Monday, when he was asked which celebrities he would father a child with. 

As Swift – who recently broke up with her boyfriend of six years Joe Alwyn – was mentioned, he said: ‘Absolutely. I’m in. Let’s go.’

While the comments were laughed off on the radio show, shocked listeners took to Twitter to claim it was an example of misogyny and accused Cannon of reducing women to being ‘objects’ that could bear his children.   

One fan shared: ‘Isn’t this harassment?? F**k nick cannon. this is do rude & unprovoked. Taylor swift is larger than the world rn & he wants to take that away from her thru reproductive violence like all men who want their women to sit at home & care for babies when they’re at the peak of success [sic].’

Others added: ‘Imagine if he’d said that The Rock can now carry his baby, or Jason Momoa. He wouldn’t, right? Even if they could carry babies. And it’s because a man won’t violate another man’s bodily autonomy without expecting a fight. But a woman? Available to every man, right? No consent?’;

‘Taylor Swift has been single for one day (publicly) and already s****y men are seeing her as an available womb. That’s what we’re talking about when we we’re talking about reflexive straight cis male misogyny.’;

MailOnline has contacted Cannon’s representatives for comment.  

During his radio appearance, Cannon was asked if he was done having kids, to which he replied: ‘Every time I answer this question I can never answer it correctly because I don’t know.’

He added one time he said he would, ‘leave it in God’s hands’ which angered many religious people.

When talk turned to celebrity baby mamas and Swift, he quipped: ‘That’s the one. That… I’m all in,’ as Stern’s co-host Robin Quivers asked Cannon what it was about Swift that made him say that.

‘First of all, she’s an amazing songwriter and what I do love about Taylor Swift is the fact that she has been so open and vulnerable with all of her music since she was a young girl,’ Cannon said.

He added, ‘And, she’s kinda like me. Me and Taylor’s numbers are very similar when we’re talking about being out here in these streets.’

‘I think she would relate to me very well, based off of like… yo, you’ve dated a lot of people in the public eye, so have I, so we probably would really understand each other,’ Cannon added.

Stern mentioned that it’s been reported that she broke up with Alwyn, and Cannon added, ‘You know that I know that, Howard. You know my Spidey senses was tingling.’

Stern added he would love it if he had a baby with Taylor Swift, adding he thinks it would be ‘fantastic.’

‘Me too. I think that would be amazing,’ Cannon admitted.

Back in 2016, Cannon was asked about Swift’s feud with Kim Kardashian, and he said, ‘I’m gonna go with Taylor, all day. That’s an easy one.’

Cannon shares 11-year-old fraternal twins Monroe and Moroccan with ex-wife Mariah Carey, who he was married to from 2008 to 2014.

He shares son Golden Sagon, 6, daughter Powerful Queen, 2, and son Rise Messiah, 6 months, with Brittany Bell.

He also shares twins Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir, 21 months, and daughter Beautiful Zeppelin, 4 months, with Abby de la Rosa.

It’s over: Swift has been in the headlines amid reports that she recently broke up with her boyfriend of six years Joe Alwyn (pictured in 2020) 

Cannon also shares son Legendary Love, 9 months, with Bre Tiesi, daughter Onyx Ice, 6 months, with LaNisha Cole and daughter Halo Marie, 3 months, with Alyssa Scott.

His son Zen with Alyssa Scott, Zen, passed away in December 2021 at just five months of age from a brain tumor. 

Cannon recently clarified statements that he’s a ‘provider’ to his six baby mamas by admitting that he actually doesn’t give any of them a ‘monthly allowance’ or ‘set amount’ of money for the children they share.

‘I don’t give myself that [guideline]. What they need, they get it. There’s never been something that one of the mothers of my children has asked for and they didn’t receive,’ he clarified.
