Little Mix’s Perrie Edwards celebrates Liverpool triumphing in Champions League final with footballer beau Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain… despite him being benched for the game

She jetted to Madrid in order to support her footballer beau as his team Liverpool went head to head with Tottenham Hotspur in the Champions League Final.

And Little Mix’s Perrie Edwards, 25, couldn’t contain her excitement as she rushed onto the pitch at the Wanda Metropolitano in Madrid to celebrate with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain when Liverpool beat Spurs 2-0 on Saturday night.

The Black Magic songstress celebrated with the Liverpool midfielder – despite him being benched for the game – by giving him a massive hug and posing with him next to the trophy.

The loved-up duo couldn’t keep their hands off one another as they smiled and joked around when the game came to a close.

Proving she is a devoted fan, the hitmaker dressed for the sporting event in a Liverpool FC shirt paired with form-fitting cycling shorts.

Glamorous as ever, Perrie wore her long blonde tresses down in loose curls cascading down her shoulders and highlighted her pretty features with a dusting of make-up. 

During the game, the star took to her Instagram story to show fans her time on the sidelines.

She shared shots of the crowds cheering and chanting as well as shots of her enjoying the moment with her pal as they wrapped their arms around one each other whilst flashing their pearly white teeth. 

Perrie documented her journey to the Spanish capital by posting footage of her eating pizza with family and friends with an LFC Madrid emoji on Friday.

Prior to her departure, the singer spoke to Boogie and Arlene on Forth 1 radio and said: ‘I’m going to be out in Madrid so if they win it’s going to be party central and I am ready to party.

‘I just want Alex to be a part of it, that’s all I care about.

‘I can’t even tell you how nervous I am and I don’t even know if he is going to play or not but my anxiety is through the roof.’

When asks whether she gets nervous watch Alex play, she said: ‘It’s [the match] out of my control and I don’t know what the outcome is going to be, but I at least want him to play a little part of it.’ 

Their relationship is definitely heating up, as the loved-up pair recently moved in together.

The couple, who were first rumored to be dating in November 2016, also recently had another family member move in, as they welcomed Perrie’s childhood cat Jack.

And they also have a fiery competitive streak, as Perrie previously joked she and Alex once almost split up over a board game.

Perrie recently shared that the pair are super competitive.

The Woman Like Me singer shared: ‘We had date night, it was competitive, it got out of hand. I swear to God I thought he was going to dump me – and I thought I was going to dump him. If you think I’m competitive, you should meet him.’

The blonde beauty has also shared that she definitely wants to marry the sports star one day.

She said: ‘I hear a violinist and I’m like, That’s going in my wedding! I love strings, the whole idea of marriage … the day and the dress.

‘I’m a hopeless romantic but, at the same time, I’m career-driven first. I know marriage is lovely and cute, but I’d rather just be with Alex for the rest of my life if I had to pick.’

And when it comes to starting a family, the star admitted she isn’t feeling ready just yet, while adding that she does love babies.

The star explained: ‘I love babies but I don’t feel broody at all.’
