Selling Sunset producers are ‘stirring the pot’ says Chrishell Stause

The cast of Selling Sunset recently kicked off filming for series six of the Netflix reality show. And star of the show Chrishell Stause tell us that the producers have been “stirring the pot”.

Speaking exclusively to OK!, the 41 year old says we can expect plenty of drama during the next season, which is likely to hit our screens next year.

“We just started filming and they definitely enjoy stirring the pot so unfortunately there is going to be some drama that gives me anxiety!” Chrishell tell us of what we can expect for serries six.

“But I’m hoping people can focus on some of these incredible houses and fun clients and also the sisterhood that we’ve all genuinely formed.

“But when you add new cast members and new people to the office of course that’s going to change things and I’m sure that’s exactly what the show is wanting.”

We thought they may be less drama on the show after the departure of former cast member Christine Quinn, but Chrishell says the star wasn’t around much last season anyway.

Asked whether or not it’s strange filming without the 33 year old, who is mum to son Christian with her husband Christian Richard, Chrishell said: “No I wouldn’t say it has, she wasn’t really working in real estate for a long time before so it didn’t change much.”

The actress, who recently launched her new collection with Lipsy London, also opened up about her relationship with her ex-boyfriend and boss, Jason Oppenheim.

She says of their friendship: “I think that’s something we’re both very proud of and we worked really hard to keep intact.

"It was a process but I think we’re both really proud of where we’ve ended up and we just try to keep that respect there at all times, and it’s not easy but I have to give us both a lot of credit for feeling like we really care about each and wanting to ensure that that comes through in how we communicate.”

Chrishell and Oppenheim Group president Jason dated for five months until December 2021. They announced their split in a statement on Instagram, with Chrishell admitting that while they are “best friends”, their ideas on starting a family were not “aligned”.

She wrote: "Jason was and is my best friend, and other than our ideas for family ultimately not being aligned, the amount of respect and love we have for each other will not change going forward.

"Men have the luxury of time that women don't, and that's just the way it goes. All of that being said, navigating this public terrain is difficult and I am just trying my best.

"No one would rather only speak about work related things more than me. But I understand this comes with it, and I will always love and be extremely grateful for the opportunities I have been given."
